As I went back through the entire book, I noticed there were a few mistakes that grabbed my attention so I just want to clear up any confusion.
Sean and Kora are mates, and while they have their own mind link between each other already, they have not permanently mated.
Carlos is dead but Matthew did get away from the fight alive while Kora was killing Carlos.
Kora's pack is now helping the witches and Kora's dad has promised an alliance with Sean's pack as long as they promise to help his pack if they need them.
If anyone has any other questions about the re-edit on the book, just leave a comment and I'll try to answer.
Happy Reading!

Kora's POV
"Kora?" Sean opened the door that led into the living room as sweat broke up on the top of my skin from what I thought I saw."Kora, what's wrong?" He turned me around to look at him.
"Nothing, I just.." I trailed off, looking back over my shoulder to where I had thought I saw Damon standing.
"What?" He asked again, following my eyes trying to see whatever I was looking for.
"Nothing. Is everything ok with the pack?" I changed the subject, deciding that I had to have just been seeing things.
"Everything's fine, I was just talking with Tony about what happened while Clarence and I were gone." He explained, letting my strange behavior go for now but I knew it would eventually come back up later. "Clarence should get here in a little while with the hummer. Right now, let's just your clothes and things settled in for the moment." He said taking my bag from me and making his way down the long hallway.
Once he reached the third floor on the left he stopped to open the door but motioned for me to go inside in front of him.
It was a rather large bedroom with a grey theme to it. The large bed held a fluffy grey comforter and dark blue sheets underneath. The grey curtains around the window accented the dark blue walls of the room.
"This is your room?" I asked as I walked in, taking in the entire room.
"Yeah, this house is solely the alphas house. I don't live in the main pack house with the rest of the house."
"Why not?" I turned to him to hear his answer. The alpha almost always lived with the rest of the pack. His presence provided stability and helped the wolves thay stayed in the pack house to sleep a little sounder knowing that their alpha was just a door away.
I had never heard of an alpha living separately from the majority of his pack.
"When we had first got resettled here, we had a lot of rogue attacks, thinking that since we were having to restart our pack that we weak, but they quickly found at that that wasn't the case. When the rogue would find out that I dorm seperately from the pack, they would often come to attack me first. With my alpha training from alpha Richards, I was able to quietly take care of them and the pack was always safer because the rogues would go nowhere near them."
It was smart, but at the same time dangerous for Sean for other reasons.
"What if there were too many rogues one time and you couldn't handle them all?" I tried to argue with his reasoning, but he always had an answer.
"I'm still close enough to the rest of the pack so that if I do need help, my fighters are only seconds away when I link them." He moved to lay down on his comfortable looking bed as he spoke, looking like he had thought out every possible senario and a plan B of anything ever went wrong.
Sean was a good alpha.
"So, what do we do now?" I asked, laying down next to him.
"Now, we relax for a little while." Sean moved to pull me closer to him, halfway laying on him as he wrapped his arm around my waist and placed a soft kiss on top of my head. "I want to formally introduce you to the pack."
"That sounds good." I nodded, snuggling into his side.
"I have a question." Sean blurted out making me lift my head off of his chest to look at him. "Are you ticklish?" He asked with a large smirl plastered on his face.
It took me a few seconds before I realized where he was going with that question but by the time I processed the words and tried to get away, Sean already had me underneath him as his fingers torchured my sides.
"Sean, stop!" I gasped in between fits of giggles, trying with all my might to push him away from me as he tickled me to no end.
Once he finally decided that I'd had enough he playfully kissed my nose with a goofy smile on his face.
"Jerk." I mocked him once I recaptured my breath. He simple stuck his tongue out at me before our eyes met in a different way.
I could feel his wolf call to mine see stayed there, he body over mine. In my mind, my wolf began to grow anxious as we studied our mate ready to sink get teeth into him like he was a meal.
Slowly, his body lowered to mine and our lips met, filling me with a new feeling that I had never felt before.
My heart beat soared she fingers ran across my neck, his thumb brushing against the place where he would eventually mark me, where my neck and shoulder met on my left side.
His kisses eventually worked there way along my jaw and down my neck to thay exact place, forcing me to gasp as his teeth softly raked against the skin there before he pulled away causing me to whine out loud.
"Kora, I don't want to pressure you into letting me mark you." He shook his head but I quickly placed both of my hands on either side of his face.
"You're not pressuring me into anything, Sean. If I didn't want this I wouldn't be here right now." I told him truthfully, my voice almost shaken.
Sean hesitated at first but eventually lowered himself back down to kiss my forehead, leading down my face until he reached my lips again.
After a few long minutes of his soft lips dancing against mine he worked his way back down to the sensitive spot on my neck where his wolf instinctively knew to mark me.
"I love you." Sean whispered right beside my ear before his teeth sunk into my neck, making me whine in pain underneath him. After a few seconds the pain disappeared and was replaced with pure pleasure as his wolf called out to mine as they formed a tighter bond.
As Sean retracted his canines from my neck, his tongue darted out to clean up the blood that was spent from marking me. The mark on my neck was now twice as sensitive as it was before Sean placed his mark there, driving me crazy when he kissed it after it was clean.
"I love you too." I replied to him without even thinking, my heart just knew.
