Kora's POV

I fell to my feet, soaked and tired from the rain that continued to fall. The trees swayed from the heavy rain around me, dancing as I tried to catch my breath.

"Kora." The stranger said my name, making me spin around. When I turned at first I didn't see him, until I blinked a few times and he came into focus. He walked over to me, bending down to lift me to my feet as he spoke again.

"Run." He repeated just like in my last dream. He gently set my feet on the ground, making me come back to reality after I got lost in his emerald eyes. Over his shoulder the same men from before in my other dream came bursting through the trees towards us, carrying weapons. I looked back at the stranger in front of me as his hand traveled up to touch my cheek, making sparks run through my cheek.

He repeated one last time, just whispering as he looked at me sadly. "Run." He said before he began to disappear again, making me panic.

"No. Stay, please." I pleaded, ignoring the men nearing me. "Don't leave me." I said before I had to start running. Just like last time I looked over my shoulder only once to see the men chasing me barrel through the stranger, making him completely disappear like a cloud of smoke.

I tripped over something as I ran and fell roughly to my hands and knees again, making me cry out. The men chasing me circled around me before I could stand. The man that stepped forward I only recognized this time to be Carlos, a giant smirk in his face as he pushed me onto my side with his foot as he pulled out his knife.

"Look what we have here." He said bending down next to me. This time he seemed to be holding his side in his jacket, like he was in pain. Good.

Just as he was about to stab me everything went black again, gracing me with darkness.

---

As I woke my head pounded, making me moan. Slowly, I opened my eyes, inviting in the dim sunlight from a small window in the wall. I was in a small room with only a bed, a small window, a desk and a grey door in the opposite wall from me. I cautiously sat up, almost everything in my body aching.

My mind reeled back to what happened the day before with Carlos, making my wolf snarl in my head at the thought of him shoeing up. It scared me to think that he had gotten into my house and all the way up to my room. I know my parents or Damon must have seen him, and it worried me that he might have hurt them, or worse, to get up to my room.

I tried to stand to my feet, but at first I felt sick when I tried to straighten. After a minutes it passed and I slowly stood, walking over to the door and trying to open it. When it wouldn't open, I groaned and went over to the window, standing on my tip toes to look out of it.

All I could see where trees surrounding the building, giving me somewhere to escape to once I get outside. I heard voiced walking past my door making my ears prick up, but I couldn't make out what they were saying. They were just mumbles to me.

Once they continued down the hall and out of range I sighed, sitting back down on the bed before I got an idea. I walked back over to the door and examined the hinges. I dug through my pockets for something to pick the hinders apart with, but they were completely empty. I quickly went over to the desk and opened the drawers, searching through them.

Of course, they were empty. I quickly when back over to the door, taking a deep breath and balled up my fist, smashing the ball of my palm against the top hinge. I put the little bit of alpha strength that I inherited from my father into my jab, breaking the hinge clean off the door.

I winced as a small pain ran up my arm from the metal colliding with my hand. After a second I positioned my hand to break the middle hinge, bringing my hand down fast on the metal making it clatter to the ground. Just as I positioned my hand to break the final hinge on the door, two male voice floated down the hallway walking this way. I froze, straining to listen to them.
