"Look who's here," Simon said as he walked through the door with his family. "Oh, thank goodness you're okay!" Angela exclaimed as she brought her son into a big hug. "Oh my lord, is that who I think it is!?" Serena said as she looked at the man standing next to her son. The blond smiled as he walked toward his old friend. "Ashley Maino, it's been far too long," She said as she hugged him. "I'm gonna go to bed, Good night," Athena said as she yawned and walked toward her bedroom.

She walked towards Issac's room to kiss him good night. She opened the door slowly and found his bed empty. Athena quickly searched the room, but Issac was nowhere to be found. She walked toward her room to see if he was there and saw him sleeping peacefully in her bed. Athena let out a breath of relief, that was till she heard the floorboard creak. Her wolf was on high alert listening to the sounds in the room carefully and quickly masked her scent. She slowly walked toward her nephew and grabbed his sleeping form. She saw the window cracked wide open. 'I think there is someone in my room, don't make any noise as you come upstairs' she mind-linked her family. Athena held Issac close to her and tried to leave her room. A man stepped out of the shadows and grinned sickly at Athena.

Athena's wolf took over her and made her eyes glow. "Why are you here?" Micaela, Athena's wolf spoke in a threatening tone. "Well, I was here for the little rat, but I might as well leave with you," He said as he tried to step forward only to be met with earth-shattering growls from the whole family. Axel was the first to attack the rouge, who punched Axel in his ribs and knocked the air out of him. Abner went in next and was able to punch the rouge a few times before he was thrown across the room. Athena handed her nephew over to his mother before she ran toward the rouge and threw him out of the window. She jumped out of the window and shifted into her large white wolf. The rouge shifted into a muddy brown wolf and snarled at her.

Athena growled loudly and attacked the wolf. She bit his neck and pinned him down. The pain caused the rouge to shift back into his human form. As Athena growled again the moon seemed to glow even brighter. Adrian and Wade caught the rouge by his neck and dragged him to the dungeons for questioning. Athena shifted back into her human form, a white dress covered her body.

After numerous hours of torture, they finally got some information out of the rouge. "We need to prepare for the war... Call everyone immediately," Adrian said as he walked out of the dungeon cleaning the blood off of his hands. Wade nodded his head and ran toward the Alpha's house to let everyone know.

"We'll be fighting in two days, the rouges have gone behind our backs once again and are going to attack our packs in two days," Wade told his family. Athena's face hardened before she nodded her head curtly and ran upstairs. "Adrian is informing the rest of the family, I think you should go prepare the pack," Wade told his brothers-in-law who nodded their heads before he ran after his mate.

'Why didn't Grandma tell me? Am I ready? Is my pack ready? Will we make it out of this alive?' Questions swarmed Athena's head as she tried her best to meditate and reach out to her Grandmother. "Athie?" Wade called out to his mate who seemed to be in a daze staring at the wall. "Baby are you okay?" Wade asked his mate when he saw a tear fall out of her eyes. "It's all my fault," she said as she broke down. Wade brought her into a hug and she sobbed into his shoulder as he rubbed her back. "All of these people are going to die because of me, my family could get hurt, you could get hurt, and it would all be because of me," Athena said as she held onto her mate's shoulder.

"Hey, look at me-" Wade began as he pulled Athena's face away from his shoulder. "-first of all, we aren't going to die, we will win this war, for you, because you're worth fighting a war for. And Athie look at it this way, if it wasn't you, we would be fighting this war for it would be some other girl, who in my opinion wouldn't be strong enough to handle it." Athie gave her mate a watery smile at his miserable attempt to make her smile. "We'll make it out alive, we have to. I want to make many beautiful babies with you," Wade said as he wiggled his brows at his mate who started laughing.
