A/N: So, it's been a while.. but this should be good.

My eyelids fluttered open as a loud knocking sound met my ears. "What?" I groaned, my voice loud as I snuggled further into the covers.

"Lux Kennedy?" A deep, husky voice called from the other side of the door. "Mind if I come in?" Who was this guy? To be honest, all I wanted to do right now was sleep.

"Whatever." I shouted, covering my head with a pillow. The sound of the door creaking open accompanied by footsteps, all of which were followed by the closing of the door. "Who are you and why did you wake me up?"

A low chuckle was audible through the fabric of the pillow. "Nick Auden, elemental. Everybody knows who you are. The question is, what you are." It took all my strength to remove the pillow from my head and sit up. I still wore the tank top and sweatpants from yesterday, and I bet you my hair was a mess, but I could care less. That was, until I caught sight of the god before me. My breath caught in my throat as I let my eyes scan from head to toe.

His hair was a sort of brown, blonde highlights thrown in here and there. A strong jawline and perfectly shaped nose shaped his face. Two things stood out, though. His piercing blue eyes, and his soft, plump lips. Looking further, I noticed how his arms were built and muscular, his shirt tight enough to see the outline of abs. His jeans fit perfectly, hugging his body in all the right ways. Even his shoes were attractive, on him.

"Tell me when you find out." I murmured, my eyes snapping back to his face. His gaze met mine and it felt as if time had stopped. Once again my breath was taken away as I stared into the ocean coloured orbs.

"You don't know what you are?" His features showed a mask of confusion, his brows furrowed and lip curled slightly.

I shook my head. "I barely remember anything that happened the night that I was brought here. I mean, I'm just a teenage girl with red hair and green eyes." After I said these words, he looked even more confused. "What?"

"You don't have red hair, Lux. You're hair is light brown." Nick's expression showed that I had either gone crazy, or my hair colour had changed. "And your eyes are more of a blue than green."

I stood up, my feet taking me to a small mirror I had hung yesterday. My hair was a light brown, nearly blonde, while my eyes were a blue-green with even bigger orange specks than before. I looked thinner, more fit than I had when I fell asleep. "What the hell?" My voice was barely a whisper.

Nick's eyes widened. "Oh my god... You're an elemental." His voice was hardly audible, but every word came out clear as day. "The change, it's already started. When was the last time you looked in a mirror?"

"Yesterday afternoon. I had bright red hair and dark green eyes, and was definately five pouunds heavier." I couldn't stop staring at my reflection. I was different. "What's happening to me?" My gaze went from my reflection to Nick's. His eyes were trailed on me, both orbs full of awe.

"I have never heard of a change happening so quickly." I turned to him, my eyes catching his once more. He took a step closer to me. "You're different." He murmured, his feet only bringing him closer to me. Soon enough I felt his warm breath blowing across my face. "What is it that makes you change so quickly?" His words were but a whisper.

My breath hitched, I spoke in soft breaths. "I don't know, but I'm here and I want to figure it out." He nodded, still only inches away from me. His eyes flickered from my eyes to my lips and back again. "Fire."

 "What?"

"The night before I was brought here. The only thing I remember is seeing men, and then fire." My words were breathy, but clear and understandable.
