I laughed as Nick attempted to shove a fry into my mouth. Let's just say there was mashed fries on the floor, now. My hand reached up to smack the side of his head. Jake and Eric erupted with laughter, Eric nearly falling off the bench. I quickly threw a french fry at the both of them. Jake stopped the fry mid-air, with his mind, while Jake suddenly disappeared, only to appear next to me. That's when I shoved him off the bench, causing our table to erupt in laughter once again. He teleported back to his spot and sat down. Grabbing the water bottle Nick had bought me, I unscrewed the cap and made it look like I was making a puddle of water on the floor.

"What the hell, Lux?" The three boys all asked in complete unison. Getting up from my spot on the bench, I went to the floor, laying on my stomach. A grin plastered on my face once I saw the space between the puddle and the floor. I was levitating water. "Lux?" Jake pulled me from the ground only to take my place. "You're doing that without even thinking about what you're doing! What the hell!" He exclaimed as he noticed the floating puddle.

Once again, I laughed as he moved his head directly under the puddle, staring up through the water. Smirking, I flicked my wrist slightly, watching as the water splashed down onto his face. This sent the entire room into a fit of laughter."You should've just let the fry hit you." I shrugged, a smirk on my lips.

Nick pulled me back to the bench, making me sit next to him. I sat between his legs on the bench as he leaned in, whispering in my ear. "I'm glad you three are getting along." He murmured, his happiness actually evident in his tone.

I smiled at him, turning my head to face him. "So am I." He leaned in and pecked my lips. "Training starts tomorrow, right?" He nodded. "Yay!" I squealed, only letting my excitement show a bit too much.

"Excited, are we?" Eric chuckled, sitting next to us. I nodded, sending him what I hope was a look that said, 'Isn't that obvious?' "Don't get too excited, training is hard. It's not just working on your powers, but everything else too. Running, hand-to-hand combat, swordfighting, climbing, building shelter, hunting, making a fire; anything that you might need if war comes. You'll learn to shoot a gun, and if you aren't good at it, you will need to be. There will be normal school courses, like history and science, although the cirriculum is probably way different, unless you study unicorns in science class. Training is like normal school, combined with an army bootcamp, combined with real life war, with the addition of supernatural powers. It is way harder than you think."

I raised my brow at him. "You think I don't have enough physical ability, or mental ability, to survive training? I was in cheerleading, track and field and the swim club. My best friend loved rock climbing and hiking, we went every weekend for three years. One time, we got lost in the forest, so we had to make a shelter and find food, then cook it over a fire. Let me say that we had no supplies, except for our water bottles. I've never shot a gun, but I did archery in summer camp two years ago.  I've gotten straight A's in school ever since Kindergarten. Also, let me remind you that my father was the avatar. I need fire, I make fire. I need water, I make water. I need shelter, might as well build a house of stone within seconds. Get cold at night? I'll bring on the warm breeze for you." I stopped, taking a breath. "I think I'll survive training."

He looked taken back, as if surprised I had said that. In fact, I'm not sure where that courage came from. I brushed my hand through my hair, watching as the strands brushed by my face. A spot of colour made me stop, grabbing a chunk of my hair. The tips of my hair was begining to change colour. It was almost as if I was in the process of dip dying my hair. The very tip was red, before turning to orange, to yellow, and then to green, and blue, the blue fading into my blonde hair. I stared at my hair, confusion sweeping over me.

"What did you just do?" Nick's voice brought me out of my shock.

"Nothing, absolutely nothing. I think my hair just dyed itself again." I murmured, staring at my hair.
