What the fudgenuts. I had woken up to somebody jumping up and down, the bed threatening to break under the force. The last thing I expected was to see a full-grown, teenage boy jumping around, stopping when he saw me give him a weird look. Nick. His eyes shone as he smiled at me, an innocent look falling into place on his features. He looked like a little boy, not an eighteen year old man. Jumping off of the bed, he grabbed my hand and pulled me off on the bed in one swift movement. I nearly fell to the ground in surprise. Nick's eyes travelled down my body, noticing my tank top and short shorts.

"Take a picture, it'll last longer." I smirked as I walked past him and to the door. Pulling it open, I stood at the doorway. "Goodbye, Nick." My eyes rolled as he gave me a confused look. "I have to get ready. I'll see you in a bit, okay?" Nodding, he stepped towards me.

"See you later, babe." His lips pecked mine quickly before he walked out of the room. People stepped out of his way before he even had the thought of asking. He looked so powerful compared to everyone else. Once he disappeared into a room, all eyes were on me. I could feel a blush rise to my cheeks as I gave an awkward wave before closing the door. Right as I was about to shut it fully, a foot stopped it. I stepped out of the way in surprise. That's when Hannah sauntered into my room.

With a suspicious smile on her face, she greeted me. "Hey Lux. So, I've heard some rumours travelling around campus. Is it true?" Excitement and curiousity were etched into her features.

"Is what true?" I asked cautiously, not positive what he was talking about.

"You're the avatar's daughter, and he mated you to the one and only Nick Auden! I mean, it's so amazing just standing in the presence of an avatar's descendant. Never before has there been a full elemental, other than the avatar himself, of course. The fire nation was the strongest, so it's no surprise that Nick is the last one of them left, though. In fact, we thought he was the last elemental left, period. That's probably why your father mated you two, because you were the last two elementals, and he wanted you two to be together, just incase something happens. Anyways, I can't believe Nick Auden actually talked to you. I mean, he hasn't spoken to any of the students since he got here two years ago. Isn't that strange? It's always been him and his little groupies. They're the only two people he'd talk to. Nobody knows why, though. Then you show up, not even knowing what you are, and he's at your door. Insane, right?" She rambled, although with each word, I was even more interested than I was before.

"The fire nation?" Was the first thing that came out of my mouth.

Hannah nodded, sitting down on the bed with my following her lead. "A few hundred years ago, there were four nations. The air nation, water nation, earth nation and the fire nation. The world was at peace, no wars, no fighting. That is, until your father was born. Everyone knew he was the avatar right away, due to the fact that he had no parents, and kind of just showed up out of nowhere. He was raised up in the fire nation, until he was eighteen. He was then old enough to be ruler of all nations. Everything was fine for a few years, until the avatar made a suggestion. He suggested that all four nations shared their belongings, such as food and hunting tools, and start a international trade. Everyone was alright with it, except for a large city that stood in the fire nation. They refused to take part in the trade. Their leaders were executed. Of course, their families wanted revenge, so they secretly made their way to the air nation and attacked. This began a war between the two nations, and as people picked sides, the entire planet was at war. The war lasted years, many elementals failing to survive. Normal humans also existed at the time, but the elementals had hidden them for protection in underground chambers during the war. Hundreds of humans lived, although only a few dozen elementals remained. The elementals hid themselves from the humans, pretending to be humans themselves. As they had children with humans and other kinds of elementals, other types of powers were created, such as telekinetic power and all that. The avatar was alive, and as he reached his early two-hundreds, he fell in love. The woman became pregnant, and he lived with her for two months before the house was attacked by some random human. The woman managed to hide, but the avatar was killed in the act of protecting his wife and soon-to-be child. The woman had a little girl seven months later, naming her and raising her. Little did she know that the avatar, her soulmate, had mated the child and a young elemental together before he was killed. The child grew up with the name Lux, and the elemental, Nick Auden." She finally stopped talking after her ridiculously long history lesson. A lot of it seemed impossible, but due to the fact I was able to create fire with nothing but my mind, I believed her.
