[26] I didn't see this coming

We sat on deck of the Blue Water Express on our way to the first island, Gili Trawangan. After our intimate experience from this morning, Lisa was exceptionally clingly. She couldn't keep her hands off me and to be honest I enjoyed it tremendously. Both of us were more quiet than usual but it was a calm quiet between us, still basking in the afterglow of our morning together. 

I was so glad I hadn't let Lisa push me away with her standoffish manner when she was sick yesterday. And I was even more glad that she had swallowed her pride and talked to me about the issue she was having with vulnerability. It told me so much about the person she was. Even though I only had the briefest details about her past relationship, I realized she must have gone through a lot of hurt and heartbreak and that she was ready to work on herself in order for something like this to never happen again. 

Maybe this was exactly why Rosé had been so protective of Lisa's feelings in the beginning. Low-key warning me not to play around in case I didn't feel anything between us. 

Lisa had her arms encircled around me, sweetly playing with my fingers while my head laid on her shoulder. I could see Jisoo eyeing us suspiciously out of the corner of my eyes. I really didn't want this Chicken to figure out the reason why we were acting a bit different this morning.

"You feel better Lisa?" Jisoo suddenly asked even though Rosé had already asked her that when we were having breakfast at the hotel before. I shot my friend a weird look. "Sorry, just wanted to make sure she's not feeling sick again. We're on a boat! Having to throw up here is no fun!" my friend defended herself. Lisa laughed lightly. "I'm good Unnie. Thanks for asking."

Jisoo's eyes were screening us sitting together with our hands intertwined as if she could smell the new intimacy between us.

"I really want to go snorkelling on the island!" I distracted the group including Jisoo so she would stop staring at us like that. 

"Oh! Me too! I hope we get to see sea turtles." Rosé chimed in happily. Jisoo's head turned in her direction and she started to frown. 

"Chaengie, your shoulders are getting burned." she started to rummage around in her little backpack for the sunscreen. Rosé turned her shoulders so she could have a look. "Oh no! Would you please Sooyah?" she sweetly asked Jisoo who obviously hadn't even considered letting Rosé do it herself, as she had already put some sunscreen into her own hands. Rosé smiled and turned her back on my dark haired friend. 

I exchanged an amused look with Lisa, who just snickered a little and kissed the corner of my mouth. Did Rosé like Jisoo? Was Jisoo aware of it? Or was it all just their flirty type of friendship? Jisoo tentatively put sunscreen on Rosé's shoulders, arms and a little down her back that was exposed. For Jisoo's usual roughness, her movements were quite soft. 

"Do you want me to put sunscreen on you too like that?" I stretched my neck to snicker into Lisa's ear teasingly so our other two friends wouldn't hear. I felt her squeeze my waist in return.

"I want a repeat of this morning..." Lisa pressed her lips to my ear. "only in less clothing..."

Oh damn. Her talking to me like that got me horny all over again. My body wanted her so much. Wanted everything she was offering. I let out a shaky little giggle when I felt her leave a wet kiss on my ear. "Soon." I promised her quietly. She pressed her nose against my temple and I felt her controlling her breathing. 

I have always had a feeling that Lisa was a very sexual person. The way she had been so open and unashamed about doing things I had never done with anyone else ever before, only corroborated my suspicion. I couldn't deny that it scared me a little due to my own inexperience with other women. But it also made me realize how much Lisa must be controlling herself in order not to scare or overwhelm me. Which was really sweet. It showed me that she really cared about me.
