"So there is a room for you, but I will let your soulmates show you where it is, I will see you again soon Aurora...oh one more thing, I have to put this on you, it's a safety precaution just until we are sure you aren't still under their control." He says reaching out and gesturing to my right arm, I hold it out and he snaps a thick metal bracelet onto my wrist. My eyebrow furrow and he clearly catches on, "it suppresses your powers."

I nod to Fury and watch him walkout leaving me alone in the interrogation room.

I look down to the bracket and spin it on my wrist locking for a lock, yet seeing nothing.

The door was opened once more it was Clint and Natasha, I looked up at them but I just couldn't look her in the eyes. Clint steps forward, "Come on we can show you to your room, by the way it's controlled by JARVIS through Tony." He smiles sympathetically at me, which I hate. The sympathy, the look that makes you feel helpless.

I stand up with out a word and walk past Nat following Clint out of the secure, concrete room.

I can sense a worrying feeling through the mark I know is Nat's.

I let out a guilty sigh, I shouldn't be the one feeling guilty, she left me not the other way round.

We walk to the elevator and go up to one of the top floors.

"This is our main shared floor, it has a kitchen, living room, and five bedrooms we usually share, there are now nine of us so even if we all share with someone there is a room spare. You can sleep in the spare room or you can choose to sleep in a room with a couple other people it's completely your choice." Nat says walking in the living room, right infront of the elevator, connected to the open plan kitchen.

I just nod and walk over to the window, looking out at the amazing view.

"Tony thought you would like that." Clint says with a light chuckle placing his hand on my shoulder affectionately.

I tense at the contact but relax into it after a second, the contact sends sparks through my body. I sigh peacefully and speak, "He was right, it's beautiful."

"Not as beautiful as you." Clint says, "Sorry that was cringy." He laughs, I giggle quietly and look up at him, "It was sweet." He smiles and let go of my shoulder.

"Would you like to see the spare room?" I nod and follow behind Clint, Nat has managed to sneak off somewhere.

"Here we go", he pushed the door open revealing a sleek black and white room with little accents of colour. "Wow." I mumble just audible.

I walk over and sit on the bed wanting to test it, it was black with white pillows and a white duvet cover as well as a black fluffy blanket draped across it. I lay back on the bed and sigh in contentment. "It's amazing." I say sitting up and looking up at Clint.

"I'm glad you think so." He says walking over to me and gesturing at the space of the bed beside me, asking me if he can sit.

I just shuffle over slightly making it clear he can. He sits down beside me and turns his head to me, although i keep my view on the bathroom door infront of me. "I'm sorry you went through that, y'know the red room, HYDRA and losing your memory. We should have been there for you, we should have found and protected you."

I shake my head, "Don't blame yourself, sure it sucks, all of it like really badly sucks but it brought me here. That had to count for something right?"

He nods, "Right.", he answers smiling in agreement. "So you knew Nat?"

I sigh and look down at my hands playing with them, "Yeah we were together in the red room, we knew we were soulmates but we had to keep it hidden which was difficult." I say recalling a memory of us hiding our hands when interlocked and sharing small moments once we were in our late teens.

"I can't imagine what that was like for you, so you never got out?" That comment hurt, I knew he was simply trying to understand me more but knowing Nat left and I never got to, it stung badly.

"I actually remember Nat leaving.", I say feeling comfortable enough around Clint to talk to him like this.

"You do?" I here a feminine voice say, oh shit. It clicked, the voice belonged to the same redhead I had been talking about. I look up at her and nod sadly, she was leaning against the door frame.
"I remembered when I was in the room with Fury but I didn't want to say anything."

"I'm sorry I-"

"Madam B told me of all people. She seemed smug about it if anything, I was practicing ballet when she walked in and made a comment and as I was walking out she told me." I paused to take a breath, "I wanted to find a way out, to find you. We were meant to leave together, you made a promise and then left me there the day I was being transfered by HYDRA. On the day I needed you the most you abandoned me, you broke our promise. That was the first time I realised that I could only count on myself. I never trusted another soul after that, well not willingly anyway." I now had tears streaming down my face as I recalled the betrayal whether it was on purpose which I doubted or not she still left me.

"I tried Aurora, I tried to come back to get you that day. But you were gone. I got the rest of the girls out but I was too late, HYDRA had you and I had no clue where you were." Nat now had tears brimming in her eyes.

"Were you happy at least?" I said wondering what she had been doing all these years.

"Not at the start but after I met our other soulmates I started to find peace. But I never stopped looking for you, I swear. When you came to the tower for your mission I was sure it was you, but you have grown up, you had a new name and didn't react to your soulmark when we were near the others so I was confused." She took a deep breath and walked over to me pulling me from the bed into a standing hug. I tensed at first just like earlier but relaxed into the hug and reciprocated it. Tears run down my face as I sniffle and hold her close, reminiscing in the feeling of touching her even if it was just a hug.

After a few seconds I felt a second pair of arms close around us, and I looked to the side to see Clint, I giggled and he spoke, "I felt left out, plus it's nice to have all of our soulmates together finally. He sighed happily and hugged us tighter.

"Clint as much as I love you, I will need you to let go before you hug us to death." Nat joked groaning causing us all to laugh. Nat smiled at me and held my face with a hand either side, using her thumbs to gently wipe away the tears left behind.

I gave her a genuine smile and she kissed my forehead lightly.

"I'm truly sorry Aurora."

"I forgive you Nat." I say the words knowing she needed to hear them, because as much as she puts on a front she does really care about what people close to her think of her.

We all sat back down on the bed and spoke about their missions and gossips about our soulmates, what they liked and what they didn't, even going into a bit about intimate details which I just laughed off nervously.

I was thankful they seems to be steering clear of topics too much about me. I have had enough of talking about my past and my messed up life for today. It was mostly just light hearted conversations throughout the evening and eventually I got tired, my eyes struggling to stay open.

At some point we had moved to be laying down on the bed, still talking.

Now I was just listening to then talk whilst I began to drift off, I closed my eyes involuntarily and relaxed, allowing myself to fall into a peaceful sleep between two of my soulmates.

A/N I know this was quite a lot shorter than the previous chapter but it felt right to end this part here.
