A/N- I know this may be disappointing for some people, but Loki will not be a soulmate of Aurora, he will have another OC as his.

Also I do apologise for the amount of time it has taken for me to post this next chapter, I have just had my Alevels so I haven't had much time in the past few months to focus on anything but finishing sixthform and my job.

"Ah, so we meet again, mortal."

...

The man addressed me as I entered the room, with Wanda not far behind.

"Did you follow me here?" I'm so confused, how did he find me, and why would he follow?

"Uh, Aurora..." Thor begins, as he rises from his seat on the sofa next to Nat. I direct my attention from the man to Thor instead, "Yes?" I respond simply, not knowing what else to say.

"This," he softly gestures towards the man, "is Loki, my brother."

"Adopted." I hear the man, I now know as Loki, mumble under his breath.

"Oh, uh. Nice to meet you Loki?" I'm not sure why, but the statement left my lips as more of a question in tone.

I couldn't help but stand there lost in my own mind as it raced with an ocean of questions... Such as, why had Thor not alerted me sooner to the fact that he had a brother?

It seems like an important fact you would usually share with the people closest to you, especially your soulmates, is it not?

Did he not view me as trust-worthy?

It also seemed that I was the only one that didn't know of his existence, as everyone else had somewhat neutral expressions, except for a few cautious energys - or a slight scowl here and there.

"Yes, it is." He spoke.

"What?" I raised a brow as I spoke, I was completely lost with the conversation.

"It is nice to meet me, although I am slightly offended that you have chosen not to bow in my magnificent presence yet. I should hope you were taught some manners, as it appears you were not." His words portrayed a vicious demeanor, setting a bad impression already.

"Excuse you, Mr Snob. But if you think I am going to bow down to you, you should prepare for a rude-awakening." I deliver my retort and choose ignore his presence any further. Instead opting to journey to the kitchen and begin making some tea.

Now I know why Thor took so long introducing us; Loki is an ass.

I had almost finished making the tea when I heard multiple sets of footprints coming closer and closer. Ugh, more human interaction (Or I guess mostly human).

"Rory..." Thor began, his voice soft as if he were calming a temperamental kitten rather than me, a fully grown adult women, but he pauses when I don't turn in his direction.

I feel big warm hands take hold of my waist and I am spun around to face Thor, the owner of said hands.

"You and my brother may not have gotten off to the best start, but I have spoken with him and I wish for you two to become friends."

I sigh deeply but don't respond to him, his eyes hold mine in what appears to be a battle of wills. And yet, all I can seem to focus on is the heat radiating from his palms and onto my waist. He gently pulls me closer, with a degree of control I didn't know he possessed.
