*a few days later*

"A letter came through the post for you." Sam tells me as he snorts through the pile of letters and packages sat upon the cluttered counter top.

"Who from?" I ask, as he passes me the off-white envelop.

"Doesn't say on the outside and I haven't opened it."

"Oh, okay. Thanks, Sam." His smile is soft and bright, "Yeah, no problem," his reply mirrors his expression enthusiastically.

I pick up my fresh cup of coffee and make my way to the lounge area. I find Nat, Bruce and Everly sat close together, discussing what seems to be a serious topic. Instead of interrupting, I make the executive decision to sit in the reading-nook, therefore out of the way.

I place my mug onto a dark oak side table and hold to envelope with both hands, reading over the hand written name placed in the centre in black ink. My name.

I tear open the letter and begin reading.

(The letter)
Dear Aurora Sage,

My name is Aaron Fells, I was a member of the HYDRA organisation but escaped just days ago. After I realised the error of their ways, I knew I had no business staying to assist them in such vindictive work.

I also became aware of your existence and knew I had to inform you of this growing problem. Your parents, Killian Sage and Liana Sage are alive and wish to seek their revenge against the Avengers, along with your acts of betrayal.

They are coming for you and everyone you care about, I have more information, but I must see you in person. Meet me at the address on the business card inclosed within the envelope at 1am on tuesday, come alone and tell no one.

Yours sincerely,
Aaron Fells.
(End of letter)

That's definitely suspicious...but it's already sunday, which means I have two days to figure this out.

What do I do? I know I should just tell the others, but what if the only way I can acquire this information is through Aaron.

"What you reading?" Steve questions, although curious he is too proud to read over my shoulder.

"Oh this?" I wave the letter around like it's nothing, "just my old bank, advertising pensions or savings accounts, something like that." I fold the letter up and slip it, as well as the business card into my Jean's pocket.

Old bank? You're kidding, I've been stuck in HYDRA for most of my life. Is that really the most believable story?

"Okay..." Steve doesn't seem totally convinced, but I feign boredom.

Half convinced is better than not at all.

"So what have you been up to? I haven't seen you at all today." I change the subject keeping my tone casual, allowing him to believe everything is normal.
