Stan Hurley POV
"Hurley have you spoken to Mitch lately?"
"Yes, I got a text from him saying he got a lead on that Conan guy." I speak while reading through the files
"Well, he hasn't reported to us in a while, and we haven't gave him any new information." She explains, leading me to pull the phone away from me in surprise
"So, you're telling me the kid has lied and once again not following rules." Standing up I pace around the room helping me think straight "I thought he changed but I guess I was wrong."
"Do you have any clue where Mitch has discovered too?"
"Give me time and I'll check the hacker I put in his phone." I hang up
This kid never follows the rules.
Grabbing the laptop, I start tracking the phone, finding his location and for some good reason he's back in New York
Packing a bag, I called Irene asking her to get a plane ready not wanting to waste time I speeded down to the airport most probably speeding past ten red lights, but the good thing is I'm CIA, I can just grab my badge and speed off again.
"Okay listen up, we'll be heading to an abandoned warehouse, we don't know what to expect so I want this to be quick." I raise my voice grabbing all the agents attention
"We are here to get Mitch Rapp and Skyler Valente do not to shoot them I don't want to be filling more paper so keep a look out for any other dangers, got it?"
"YES SIR!" They all yell going back to arming themselves for what they need for this small mission. We don't know what to expect so I would like to be ready.
Jumping out the van I take the four men with me to the back, not wanting to make ourselves known.
"I want two of you on the roof and the other two spread out." I say allowing them all to leave to the spots I requested them in.
Once I got the signal, I walked in crouching behind a few crates looking through the gap, staring at the group of talking people.
"They should be here in a bit."
"Who?" A crock voice speaks out
"Rosa Nera"
"I'm Sorry is that Spanish or something."
"No Sir, it's Italian for Black Rose, they will be here soon."
"They?"
"No one knows if they are a female or male Sir. Never lived to say anything about the gender" The nervous voice answers
"Right, how long until 'they' get here?"
"Should be here now." the front doors open and in walks in a woman dressed smartly and a man walking behind her holding a suitcase. Both their backs to me
"You're late." The old man speaks
The woman looks down at the shiny watch "um, no, no I'm not because I'm twenty seconds early before I should have gotten here." She says "anyway I got what you asked for so now I get what I came for."
"You get it after I get the case." The man speaks signaling his man to get it but before he could there was a shot aiming where his foot would have been
"I don't think so mate" her accent changing a bit to British but it's not that noticeable
"Give her what she came here for." He huffs out
She smirks and gets her friend to go and grab the case she came from, looking in it she takes it but before anything could happen shots are fired
"Shit!" She yells "come on" her male friend yells
"What the Fuck!" I shout into the income
"Sorry Sir the girl Skyler would have died if we didn't interrupt, they had snipers ready to shoot at her""
Well at least I know that's Skyler and knowing her she'll drag Mitch to this.
"You brought friends? Well lucky me, because I did too." He yells over the guns
"No, you piece of shit, I didn't" she yells back turning to look around, giving me a glimpse of her face.
Skyler. Definitely her
Looking at the men on the rood I run from my place to shooting at the man aiming her but just before he falls to his death he takes a quick shot, the bullet going straight into her arm
"We have to go!" I turned around to the familiar voice.
Mitch.
Before I could make my way over, I feel a gun placed to the side of my head "not so fast" the old man speaks
"Rosa Nera come out now or I'll shoot the old man." He yells spinning in circles, not sure about where she is.
Looking around I see both Sky and Mitch walk out from their hiding spot, Sky leading. She looks straight to me her face full of shock the same as Mitch
"The case now."
"I'm sorry Casper but it needs to stay in the right hands." She says sorrow all over her face, but not for him no, but for me
Nodding my head, a bit indicating that I understand she carries on speaking "I know what your up to, you're working with Antonio, and he wants these parts to finish he project."
Either that's a very good guess or she knows a lot more than she let's on.
"I will kill him if you don't give me the case." He snarls at her
After the man that I learned his name is Casper speaks up Skyler has a look of anger
"You wouldn't dare." While all this is happening, Mitch is looking around trying to find a new way out of the situation.
"Oh really." He laughs looking my way,
Feeling the gun getting pushed into my head a bit more, right onto the nice cut I've been given by this shit bag
I mean it's not the like gun can be pushed any further.
"Wait!" looking over at Mitch, I see him whispering to Sky
"It's been a long day and I think we all would love to go and pretend this never happened..." before she could finish a load of guns went off in their direction
Taking this as my chance I lift my foot up and pull force stomp on the man's foot, making him let go, turning around I and kicking him in the jewels, his gun flies across the room,
Turning back to the man then to the gun I sprint for it as I grab the gun aiming at the young man, I turn my head staring at Skyler and her looking right back over to me
"Go!" I yell, turning back around I shoot the rest of Caspers friends and turn to help other agents but pain shoots through me, looking down I see I've gotten shot in the stomach
"Shit" I whisper
"Hurley!" Looking over to the side of the room I see Mitch running over but Skyler grabs his arm,
"Take him." I shout, she shakes her head looking disappointed but pulls him out of the building leaving me there on the ground, trying to catch my breath
After a good ten minutes it's silent although you can just hear foot steps
Looking up I see the Casper walking over to me. "Its a shame really, she could have saved you." He smiles
"It's a shame I'll be spending quality time with you" I make sure to give him a nice smile showing all my bloody teeth
"Oh no, you won't be spending it with me" He laughs before connecting his fist with the side of my face
