Chapter Twenty-Five: Set Up

Third person

As Skyler got dragged from the upside down car Irene woke up. Looking around she see's Mitch out like a light.

"What in the hell" she mumbles, searching for anything to help but no use, clicking her seatbelt she uses a hand to make sure she doesn't hit her head on the roof of the car "Mitch, Mitch get up" she started to shake him.

"Ahh shit" he mumbles looking around

"Mitch get out before the blows up" she says knocking whatever world Mitch was in, he unbuckles his seatbelt dropping down and kicking the car door open, and Irene following not far behind

Both Mitch and Irene get far enough before the car blows up, standing there watching the car the go up flames.

"Where's Skyler?" Mitch asks

"Gone" she huffs "I'll call Tom" Irene walks to the side thinking Skyler had planned all this, leaving Mitch to his thoughts

*Fuck, fuck, fuck...FUCK, this whole mission is stupid it was meant to be smooth, *

"Rapp, let's go" Irene calls walking over to the SUV

Jogging over to the car Mitch gets in back and Irene in front still on the phone

"Locals brought in two men dead from near the bridge and a black range rover left just minutes before cops got there"

"Wait, that's the direction they took of with Skyler" I speak up

"Leave it, we need to find out where Antonio is planning to plant this weapon of his"

"Wait but we need her help"

"There's a fucking weapon in play Rapp, the mission is to stop this weapon being made. That's the mission, the only mission" she snaps going back to the call

Irene walks in while Mitch stays to try call Skyler, but it only goes to voice mail "hey Sky, I don't know where you are yet, but I'll find you... I'll get you back and help you take down your father..." Mitch hangs up the phone and walks over to Irene

"Miss the FBI found a dead body in the river last night" the agent walked up to them both carrying his iPad

"Have they identified the man yet?"

"Yes ma'am, Francis ...... "

"Wait a minute isn't that the man that gives us information from...

"We got anything yet?"

"Yes. Yes, we do, the men you told me about who attacked you...they were spotted on the street camaras before they came your hotel, they we at this casino" As soon as he saw the address to the building Mitch grabs his jacket and leaves without anyone noticing him. Everyone too busy to notice.

Taking one of the cars he drives off following the GPS' direction.

Mitch POV

Parking round the block you would think the casino would be in a popular spot and it is just the neighborhood isn't exactly safe, the casino itself is popular the people here are a poor and rich, on the side walk you can see homeless people, begging the rich for spare change but they never even get a glance

Making sure the car is locked I make my into the casino, walking past an alleyway I see a bunch of men having fights probably betting on who wins it something but that's not important

I need to find Skyler and I already know they work for Antonio so I can bribe him to let her go, I know where one of the missing pieces is for his weapon.

Skyler gave her friend the location and told him where the piece was so when we left, he went and took it.

I walk into the club and look around, and people are playing poker, Blackjack, Big six wheel and other things that you win loads of money, walking over to the bar sit down and wait for the bartender

"What can I get ya?" He asks shaking the drink around

"I'm here to talk with Antonio" I say looking him straight in the eyes

He looks around for a bit then tells me to wait, soon later he comes back telling me to follow this dude.

Following the dude, he takes me down the stairs where the sound of people playing poker starts to die down.

I walk into the room with the man and just as I turn to ask him where Antonio is or even pull out my gun, I'm on the ground in seconds, out quicker than flash.

"Bring him down" is the last thing I hear
