Waking up to my phone ringing and someone yelling, I guess that's God telling me to get the fuck up and sort whatever is happening.
So, what do I choose?
To stay in bed and ignore the call?
Wrong I looked over at my phone and see its Rapp,
"Hello" I speak, my throat dry from the lack of water.
"Daughter, how are you this sunny morning?"
Not what I was expecting
"It's been better, you know roommate probably burnt down the kitchen, but the sun is still shining...how are you, father" I sarcastically asks
"Oh, I couldn't be better, although two men should've been back from an accident, but they seem to have gone missing, any idea what could have happened to them?"
"You know I think I have an idea, they might have been the two who blown up the car I was in so if you go looking for them it shouldn't take long... there should be a package on it's way for you, just a heads up." I decide to act dumb for a bit
"Now don't play with me Skyler because I have something important to you"
"Oh, I'm not...And what's that?"
"I had a visitor last night, and he came looking for you, hoping to switch places but I told him I don't have you here, so I kept the Mitch boy...very brave"
No, that can't be right, he can't be that stupid to go save Stan himself, can he?
Maybe
"Lemme guess this is where you threaten me again saying 'if you don't bring the laptop and the stick, I'll kill both Stan and Rapp' well let me tell you this father I couldn't give two shots what you do with the two, they're not my problem" I mimic his deep annoying voice, pissing him off. Hanging up I walk downstairs finding a miserable Zane
Walking past the bin I see why, he's burnt ...whatever that is, can't really tell it's that black
"If you wanted breakfast, you should have woken me up" I take the frozen mango and pineapple to make a smoothie "want one?" I added looking over at him pouring them in the blender
"Sure" he huffs, and they say I act like the child "so who was on the phone"
"My dad" as I say that he starts to choke on the air.
"What did he want?"
"How my day was going" while that's blending, I grab an apple to munch on
"Right, what did he really want?" He drags out the word 'really'
"You already know what he wants, but he also has Rapp as well"
"I'm not even going to ask" walking over I give him the smoothie, then go back upstairs to get dressed.
After a nice shower I look down to see a message from Rapp's phone
From Rappy: You have a three days to bring me what I want. We'll be waiting in London. Dad
How sweet he even signed off as dad
To Rappy: would you want me to buy some tea and biscuits or are you one of those who love crumpets with butter? I can probably make it to London on a Tuesday, would that be, okay? Sì?
Not bothering to look at his reply I head back down to Zane "somethings going on, I need you to head to London meet me at the house" I say grabbing my jacket "no more playing around" I whisper walking out the door picking up the keys before I leave.
