"And this must be Mitch Rapp? Am I correct or are you just someone filling in for him" I question walking round the boy they call the best American Assassin
Poking his head to make sure he stays awake I want him to know my plans for my daughter and the CIA
"Anyway, Stan it's finally nice to meet you, how has my daughter been over the years" I ask turning to the bloody and bruised face
"You don't care so why ask" he spits looking up not being able to see through his puffy black and blue eyes, I see a bit of purple, but I couldn't care less really
"Oh, I don't think you understand Skyler is a powerful person, her mind is stronger than anyone, but everyone thinks so little of her, I must admit I didn't think she would carry on living after the death of her mother. Irene made her into a weapon and unfortunately for all of us if she isn't controlled, she will tear all of us down without realizing."
"Is that what you're afraid of" he coughs spitting blood out before continuing "Skyler taking over everything you've built"
Laughing at the man I stop him "she could never, she's strong but not that strong. Ever heard the saying 'blood is thicker than water' she won't kill the only family members she has left that's why Irene is still alive. I'm Antonio Valente the Mafia Boss! The Devil!"
"Sorry to break it to you...but She's already taken over I mean do you not hear them whisper about the 'Rosa Nera' ...everyone is more scared of her than you, so news flash Ant" he gave me a nickname, what am I? A child
" She's the Devil" he finishes
Before I could reply I hear movement from behind me, walking around the back of Stan's chair "your boy is awake" I announce standing behind Stan resting my hands on his shoulders
"Stan?" The boy whispers looking up at the old man
"It's alright" Stan comforts him
"You alright?"
"You're not supposed to be here Rapp."
"Yeah, what are you gonna do, fire me?" the boy jokes
"What are you doing here kid?"
"Where's Skyer?" He asks ignoring the question
Like they do realize they are both tired up and one looks like shit and the other will also look like shit in a while or are they both just too interested with their conversation.
"Not here, it's a shame you thought you could bargain with me, I thought you were smarter to come meet alone, I mean I was expecting to meet the amazing American Assassin everybody has been talking about. How he started off as a man who lost his fiancé and wanted revenge, to the man who saved Rome from blowing up. Skyler will be on her way soon and she'll have a choice" I say before sending a text to some men to visit a certain someone's house.
"What have you done with her!?" The young boy asks trying to keep his cool
"I sent two men after the car you and Skyler were in, and I asked to bring her here, but they never made it back and soon I find out that someone killed them and took off with her." I tell him the truth not bothering to lie "now tell me where she hid the USB Drive"
"USB Drive?" Stan asks
"Yes, on the first mission Mitch and Skyler met she was there for the Same thing-"
"Yeah, and Mitch got there first" Hurley intercepts
"Oh" I look to the boy "so where is it?"
"There was no USB Drive, only a folder"
"WHERE IS THE DRIVE!"
"I TOLD YOU THERE WASN'T ONE!" he argues not backing down
"Why do you want it anyway?" Stan questions
"I cannot tell you that yet" I smile looking at the two "but what I can tell you is that I will have the USB soon"
"What's that supposed?"
What's with all these questions? Don't get me wrong I love playing the game 21 questions but these questions are not very interesting
"It means that Skyler might be paying us all a visit later, so I'm guessing she has the USB Stick and the folder on all the meetings and that's how you all knew where the meeting would be but obviously, we all know that I know that..(was his name Conan that I was meant to be meeting with or...definitely Conan) Conan would not be getting any information it was a set up for him but I guess I got gifted some CIA Assassins and my daughter, not what I was hoping for but it helps everything come into plan" I state
"As I now know you have no USB I might as well take the time to rough you up until dear Skyler gets here" grasping the bag of torture toys I take every out to show the pair what choices we can start with
"So, which one." I smile looking up at the two
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I'm literally crying inside for how bad this is turning out, I'm not sure how I feel about this chapter but for now it's all I can do.
