18. 3 am

Jake and Sunghoon finally left the room after Jake's embarrassment faded, only for someone to grab Jake's arm and pull him into another room. "Go away," it was Jungwon, shooing Sunghoon away, "we need to talk."

After Sunghoon was rudely (as he'd call it) kicked out, Jungwon pushed Jake into the room, closing the door behind him. Niki was sitting on the bed, eating candy and being confused on why Jungwon dragged him here.

"What happened and why did it happen here?" Jungwon finally said, jumping onto his bed excitedly. Jake groaned, falling onto the bed and squirming in embarrassment and anger. "I don't even want to talk about it," he said, his voice muffled, "it was weird, but perfect in a way."

The room went silent, Niki chewing on some liquorice while Jungwon waited patiently for Jake to continue. Niki rolled his eyes, "just say it already, Jungwon's eyes are creeping me out." Jungwon glared at Niki who just stuck his tongue out at him.

"Fine," Jake finally sat up. "I didn't want to have a weird first kiss in Sunoo's challenge because that would've been, I don't know fake? Forced? Because it's just a game right? So while you guys were bickering I just dragged him away." Jake explained the rest of the abrupt kiss, and by the end of the story, the duo were trying to hold back their laughs.

"That's..." Jungwon's face was getting flushed as he tried his best to hold back, "sweet." He finished, the room going silent as Niki and Jungwon avoided eye contact. Jake rolled his eyes, "you can laugh"

"No we don't wanna-"

Niki bursted unto laughter before Jungwon could even finish his sentence, which ultimately made Jungwon join in and the only person not laughing was Jake, who's face was buried into the pillow he was holding. Soon enough, the duo quieted down, "are you done?" Jake asked.

The room erupted into laughter once again, Jake rolling his eyes and standing up, prepared to leave the room. "Wait," Jungwon said in between laughs, "wait we'll stop, stop it Niki"

Jake sat back down as the duo quieted, "that was so unexpected like you didn't even know he liked you" Niki finally said, "I thought we'd have to set you up until you're at least 40".

"That's true but like I was just tired of acting like I just wanted to be his friend so I just kinda went for it"

"Awww," Jungwon smiled, jumping on Jake with a bone crushing hug, "since when were you confident, that's new"

"Shut up"

"So we decided not to do the challenge" Heeseung said after the group gathered in the living room again. "You decided," Sunoo said, pouting. Jake smiled widely, "don't worry Sunoo, this birthday has been amazing, thank you." Sunoo instantly smiled at the praise, his shoulder's straightening as the group began to talk more about what to do now.

"Let's watch a movie"

"We'd probably take too long to pick one"

"Let's just order food first"

"I want Chinese"

"I want burgers"

"I want pizza"

"Okay let's just starve"

"What if we go to karaoke?"

"Jungwon it's like 2 am nothing is open"

"McDonald's is open"
