Sunghoon walked into school with a smile, his two extremely tired best friends trailing behind him. "I can't believe we stayed up all night and Sunghoon is fine" Jay said, on the verge of toppling over and sleeping on the floor. Sunghoon ignored his friend's remark, walking happily towards the usual meet up spot for the seven boys before things got awkward—Sunoo's locker.
Jake smiled upon seeing Sunghoon, shyly waving at the other who smiled and approached the boy. "Your hair is adorable" Sunghoon said with a fond smile, making Jake blush. The shorter's usually straight hair was now curlier. The duo smiled at each other, not needing to speak a word. It was almost like they hadn't been talking to each other for months, and it felt like they had just started crushing on each other again. Maybe taking a break from each other wasn't such a bad thing, it gave Sunghoon time to reflect on what he was losing and gave Jake time to remember what he liked about the other. Now, their feelings for each other are amplified.
"Are we even here?" Jungwon asked, stood next to Niki, Sunoo, Heeseung and Jay. The duo continued to just stare at each other with fond smiles, making the group mimic gagging. "I regret helping these two every day" Heeseung said. Jungwon narrowed his eyes "but it's only been a day?"
"Exactly"
"Where did Jake go?" Sunoo asked Sunghoon, and the group turned to look at Sunghoon who was now standing alone, looking confused.
Sunghoon's eyebrows were furrowed in confusion, "What just happened?" He asked in confusion.
"Sunghoon, we're asking you"
"Oh yeah" Sunghoon snapped back to reality, "I don't know I just asked if he wanted to go out on a date today and he just dashed?"
"Weird"
"He's obviously scared, give him some space."
Sunghoon looked like a kicked puppy, "how much space?"
"We stayed up all night helping Sunghoon plan a date and this happens?"
"Shut up Jay"
"Just ease him into it, you guys need to get comfortable again first before going on any dates."
"I guess you're right" Sunghoon finally concluded. Soon, the group split up to their respective classes.
