17. Surprise!

"Is your mom home?" Jake asked as he met Jungwon in front of his house. The two linked arms and walked to the entrance, "nope, she left so we could be loud in peace. Anyways what were you saying about that bag?"

"Oh yeah so the bag is gorgeous but it's $400 and I'm gonna cry it's like my only true love."

"What about Sunghoon?"

"Jungwon I swear to God"

Jungwon laughed and began to unlock the door as Jake continued to talk.

"You know I might just become a stripper I mean I have the ass for it and it pays well so-"

Jake froze, making eye contact with the other 5 boys in the room, standing with birthday hats, streamers hanging off the walls and a cake sat in the middle. Niki turned around and Sunghoon put his birthday hat over his mouth to hide the fact that they were laughing, while the other 3 stared in silence.

"Surprise!" Jungwon said awkwardly. Jake's cheeks flared red.

"You know there's nothing wrong with being a stripper," Jake defended, the group was now sat in the living room, I Need U playing on the speakers as they awkwardly ate pizza, "it's just as respectable as any other art form."

"Literally no one said anything"

"Shut up Jungwon"

"ANYWAYS," Sunoo started, standing up excitedly, "I have games!"

"Okay so basically the object of the game is one person puts an egg in their mouth halfway and you try to take it around the circle using only your mouth, okay?" The group nodded, unsure, God's Menu blasting through the speaker. "I'll start"

(I really hope that explanation made sense but if it didn't I'm sorry lol)

Sunoo put the egg halfway into his mouth, leaning towards Niki who was standing beside him. Niki slowly leaned forward, wrapping his lips around the other half and successfully transferring the egg to his mouth. Jake didn't miss the way they didn't even flinch when their lips brushed against each other's.

The game was going surprisingly well, Niki passed it to Jay, Jay passed it to Heeseung, then Heeseung to Jungwon. Jungwon turned to Jake, trying not to laugh as they got close. The duo almost transferred the egg to Jake's mouth when their lips touched, making them quickly jump away from each other in disgust, the egg falling on the floor and breaking into a yolky mess. The group laughed loudly as Sunoo got the next egg ready in determination. "We're not leaving this circle until we make one rotation."

And so the group went again, and when the egg reached Jake he immediately blushed upon making eye contact with Sunghoon, who did the same. The two got closer, their lips getting dangerously close as the egg moved from Jake's to Sunghoon's lips. The group all got up and cheered at the victory, while the two boys sat in conflicted bashfulness.

That was close.

"Isn't this a little... extreme?" Jay spoke, staring in disgust at the food on the table.

"I've been watching too much love island and I deserve to see this in real life." Sunoo smiled widely, "so one person puts food in their mouth and then go to their partner and transfer the food to their mouth and then they spit it onto the plate on the other side!"

The group looked disgusted, and Sunoo's smile fell. Niki sighed, "fine, I'll do it." Reluctantly, the rest of the group slowly agreed to the food challenge, making Sunoo smile widely.

"Okay so Jungwon with Heeseung, Jay with Niki and Jake with Sunghoon!" Sunoo clapped happily, sitting in the couch. Heeseung raised an eyebrow.

"And what about you?"

"I'm not doing it, that's nasty"

"Sunoo you can't ju-"

"Where are Jake and Sunghoon?"

No one really noticed when Jake dragged Sunghoon off into the hallway and into a random room, closing the door behind him. Sunghoon's eyes widened, "what are you-"

"I wanna kiss you"

The silence was ironically loud after Jake's exclamation, the two only staring at each other.

"I don't know what drugs caused Sunoo to pick such weird challenges but I feel like it's gonna end up with us accidentally kissing and maybe it's just me but I feel like we're going somewhere and I don't want some kiss in a weirdass food challenge to end up being our first kiss so-"

"Jake"

"Yeah?"

"Shut up"

"Okay"

Finally the two leaned towards each other, their lips meeting for the first time. Jake was quick to reach up and wrap his arms around Sunghoon's shoulders, leaning his back on the door as Sunghoon got closer to deepen the kiss, his hands resting comfortably on Jake's waist.  The two lost focus on the outside world, enchanted by the happy feeling bubbling in their chests, and how their lips moved comfortably against each other. Jake then fell back, his foot hit the wall and he let out a soft pained moaned that made them both freeze, before Sunghoon laughed and Jake blushed, hiding his head in Sunghoon's chest.

"Oh my God," Jungwon's voice rang muffled from outside the door. Both boys' heads snapped up, their eyes meeting in shock that Jungwon was outside. "Nevermind! I don't need anything! Continue what you were doing!" Jake buried his face into his hands in embarrassment, groaning as Sunghoon laughed. "Go, Jungwon!" Jungwon's footsteps were heard rushing away and then running right back, "there's condoms in the night stand!"

"Jungwon!"

"Okay! I'm going!"
