Shane was staring at me. I wasn't uncomfortable but I wanted to know why. Did I have something on my face?

I walked over to him. "Shane why the hell are you staring at me?"

He blushed and looked away from me. I embarrassed him. Now I felt bad.

"S-Sorry it's just hard not to...you're very pretty."

This made me blush. My face felt warm and I got a sick feeling in my stomach. I was shocked he would say something so nice to me. I thought he hated me. Well...who wouldn't after all the things he has ever said before now.

"O-Oh...Th-Thank you Shane. Y-You, look very clean today." I said making him chuckle. He has a cute smile...I like it.

I sit with him at his table and we eat some fries and watch a Grid ball game. Every few minutes I'd catch Shane sneaking glances at me. I mean I did too. Despite me thinking he hated me before I did like him.

[Time skip]

"Shane..."

"Hmm?"

I kissed him and he kissed back. He put his hands on my waist pulling me into him. When we pulled away we both smiled.

"So...you do like me?" Shane said keeping me close.

"Of course I do...even when you are the biggest jerk in town."
