|Abigail x Reader|Angst

I have no idea how long it's been since I posted a chapter...so here you go...

I was asked to start putting trigger warnings on my angst chapters.

She is so pretty it hurts...Abigail's mind as of recently has been consumed by her bandmate Y/N. She couldn't describe the reason why this happened, but she has grown so happy when thinking of them. They just warmed her heart. It's just something...something about them that Abigail can't put her finger on that drew her to Y/N.

They looked back at Abigail from their seat. Y/N smiled and asked, "What's that goofy smile about Abby?" Abigail's face flushed and she looked out the window, instead of at Y/N. "Nothing you dork..." Abigail huffed. Sam looked back at Abigail from the rearview mirror. He laughed "She is probably thinking about that guy from the festival." Abigail kicked the back of his seat and told him to shut up. Sebastian told them to shut up. He has been sleeping since they all headed back home. Soon it got quiet Abigail found herself staring longingly at Y/N...Abigail undoubtedly wasn't thinking about a guy. Abigail's staring was halted when she saw Sam put his hand on Y/N's thigh. "Sammy~ Stop and focus on the road," Y/N says leaning over and kissing her boyfriend's cheek. Abigail felt a pang of jealousy run through her. Along with annoyance at the sight of Sam being the one to touch Y/N.

Sam's eyes though were on Y/N for too long. He barely had time to react to the truck speeding towards them. He swerved the car and they crashed into a tree head-on.

{Time Skip}
{4 days later}

A smack ran through the hospital. Abigail's eyes were filled with tears. Her right leg was broken, and she gripped her crutch tightly. Sam only had a few bruises. How he got out so unscathed enraged Abigail. To her...because of him Y/N. It was his fault they crash. "Wh-Why couldn't you just focus on the road!" Abigail yelled gaining the attention of her and his family along with a few others. Sam was also heartbroken about Y/N, he blames himself enough. "Because of YOU, I have a broken leg, Sebastian is in a coma and-and...Y/N...they..." Abigail started sobbing again and her parents led her away from Sam. Today was supposed to be about visiting the comatose Sebastian but the memories of that night just broke Abigail.

"I-I....I wish he had died instead of Y/N" Abigail says being stopped by her mother. Caroline just hugged her daughter rubbing her back. "Mom, it should have been him..."
