"Farmer," Shane says back sounding just as hateful.
Everyone in the bar was quiet. They were all freaked out. Yesterday they had been best friends. What had happened between yesterday and now? "You look like garbage." Shane puts his drink down crossing his arms. Y/N rolled their eyes. Alex stood up and asked what was up. "Stay out of this meat for brains!" Shane says.
Alex just sits back down.
Then Y/N starts giggling. "I'm sorry I can't keep this up! I'm sorry Alex!" Y/N shows everyone the giant engagement ring on their finger. "Shane and I are getting married!"
Marnie, Shane's aunt faints. Jaz is happy for her godfather and is happy to have another parent figure in her life. Everyone else's jaws drop.
