Leah smiled and all of a sudden Y/N's lit up. Her face turned bright pink. Leah grabbed her hands and kisses her on the cheek. Now Y/N couldn't move. She just froze in her spot. "

Y/N shoots up out of bed...That dream felt so real to her. The flustered farmer didn't sleep for the rest of the night after that dream. She could only think about Leah, her best friend. She has never thought about Leah in this way before. Maybe it was just a dream and it meant nothing...Y/N hopes the dream means nothing.

After six weeks...Y/N realized she had feelings for Leah. It was killing her on the inside because she couldn't talk about it to anyone. The farmer didn't know how to process these newfound feelings. What if Leah wasn't into her? What if this ruined their friendship? All these what-ifs ran through her head as days passed. Leah was honestly her only friend in Stardew she didn't want to make things weird with her or to lose her friendship.

Leah one day pulled Y/N aside. "Y/N are you okay? It seems like you are avoiding me." Leah said sounding concerned for her friend.

Y/N looked away. She couldn't bring herself to even look at Leah now. "Did...did I do something wrong?" Leah's question made a pang of pain go through Y/N's chest.

"No...Leah I just. I-" Y/N stopped herself. The what-ifs started running through her head again. This made her face turn a bit red from embarrassment. "It doesn't matter. I just need a break from...you." Leah backed up a bit and just nodded sadly. Y/N apologized and went straight home.

Leah was not taking her friend's words well. They hurt a lot. Leah went to the lake. Watching the water helped her feel calm. So she went there.

She thought about Y/N's words and wondered if she did something to hurt her or something. Or maybe she just didn't want to be her friend anymore...
