"God, why does he have to look think that!" I say covering my most likely tomato red face. My new best friend of two years Penny lets out a small giggle. "Looks like you might have a crush on him."

I mean she wasn't wrong. I did have a small crush on him. But I've always been too anxious to ever have a normal conversation without foaming at the mouth. Especially now that he's shirtless working out on the beach.

Penny nudged my side. "(Y/N) you're drooling."

"Oh shit!" I say wiping up the drool. 'Why am I like this!' I think to myself sulking at my weirdness.

Penny nudged my side again just harder this time. "Ouch, Penny why'd-" I then looked up to see Alex standing right in front of us.

I just froze. I think I even stopped breathing.

"Hey, guys!" Alex says smiling wiping from his forehead. Penny smiled "Hey Alex how are you?"

He must have noticed my staring at him. "Hehe? I'm good..." He rubbed the back of his neck nervously.

I was still silent and probably drooling again.

And before I knew it he saw leaving and Penny was waving her hand in my face trying to get my attention.

"U-ummm...(Y/N) are you o-okay? Hello?" I was soon I was kicked from my daze.

"H-huh?" I breathe out and Penny laughs. "Oh, hun I think you scared the poor boy!"

"Why can't I just be normal around him!?" I cry out on Penny's shoulder as she laughs at me. "You'll be able to do it next time."
