Seokjin smirked watching me standing across the open Hall. Clenching my jaws I pull out the papers and wave them in the air.
"I got what you need, now leave her."
"Not so soon! Firstly, I'll check if you are telling the truth or double crossing me."
He clicked his fingers and his men came out of nowhere. One of them reached me and snatched those papers out of my hand, handing it to their leader.
I was afraid that despite the false papers closely resembling the originals, he might find out; anyone would if they'll take a closer look on them.
"Let my wife go! I gave more than enough of what you asked me to, now leave her."
I walked closer but his men blocked the way as soon as Seokjin scoffed. He tugged his hands in his pocket after throwing the papers in the air. The papers got scattered flying in different directions while he seemed serious and annoyed.
I knew it, he would find out but I had to engage him to distract from getting any hint about my plan so that Jimin could save Y/N. He clenched his fist and swinging it punched Y/N on her temple.
"Y/N!!!"
I screamed but again he fired his gun but this time he shot me in the arm. I groaned holding my left thigh, tightly while he laughed like a maniac.
"What a pity! Watching someone like you on his knees is so worth it. You should have thought earlier before fooling me with these scraps. Now I'll kill both of you."
"No! You dare touch her again and your reverse counting would start."
"What would you do? Huh! What if I do this?" said Seokjin, mockingly before placing his gun on her temple.
"Like you said on the threat call, sometimes being oversmart doesn't work." I winked him when I realised my men came up behind me to cover my figure from his gang.
I backed up, taking a safe cover from his armed men while my supposed enemy was bewildered with the trick I shown. Clenching his grip on the gun he raised it pointing on me but this time before he could pull the trigger I took out the revolver and fired on one of his men.
The bullet hit right in his forehead and he dropped down dead.
The war was supposed to begin and since I initiated it, I knew what could it lead into. Tonight, either of us would survive. I looked at Y/N with love in my eyes. I can't let anything happen to her even if I don't live after tonight. I only told plan A to Jimin while the plan B will always remain unspoken to anyone.
I smiled at her softly, knowing it might be our last moment staring at each other. Her eyes we're terrified so was her shaking body. I wanted to tell her that I was sorry and I love her more than anything in this world and beyond, that's why if somehow I won't make it till tomorrow then she would officially become the heir of Jeon industry.
Lastly, I winked at her as a last moment between us for her to remember me. Averting my gaze back to the male standing next to her I tried to stand straight. Stretching the hand with gun I pointed it towards him, showing no matter when or where I'll always be the one to rule.
"Surrender yourself then I could think of letting you go. You have nowhere to go and even if you escape to hell, I will drag you out from there and cut you into pieces for doing that to my love." I grinned
"Huh! What a bluff! Look around you, having less men than mine but still you think you could overpower me. No chance! It's your last day, not mine poor Jungkookie." He scoffed and signaled his men to charge.
