8. Red invitation

Y/N'S POV

After one week, I got up from slumber like as usual and had my breakfast and went to college. Nothing really changed except people shipping that freaking couple. Taehyung was still guilty while Lisa, she never even shown a concern about me and as a matter of fact, I didn't gave a damn about that.

Right now, I came downstairs to have my breakfast when Jimin Oppa wished me.

"Good morning, chubs!!"

"Good morning...and now spill what you want?! You call me chubs only when you want something."

"Yah!! I don't but I think I need your little help." He rubbed his nape while smiling slyly.

He passed an red invitation card to me. It stated 'Company night' written with golden metallic colour in bold and it was going to held tonight. I raised my eyebrows to him. "What do you want me to do?"He gulped and smiled before he started explaining that it was a party held for company staff but it was compulsory to bring their family along with them.

"Ohh~... my brother wants to impress his colleagues?!?! Or someone special one?"

"Stop teasing me!! Last time I went alone because eomma, appa and you were busy and you won't believe how they all were bragging about themselves and their family members. It was embarrassing but this time I want everyone to know that even I have a beautiful smart ass sister who can slam shut their mouth up."

"Okay, bruh~ but what would I get in return?"

"Anything except ordering me to jump off a cliff."

I giggled,"You'll do the cooking, laundry and cleaning for the whole month and your car will be mine..okay?"

"Umm....Okay, Thanks chubs! You're the best."

With that he imprinted a kiss on my cheeks and became a 'living' Mario running around in excitement.

I thought to myself I must have done something good in my past life to deserve a brother like him. I mean he was cheerful, supportive, sometimes overprotective but it was fine. With that we bid good byes and I grabbed his car keys to reach on time.

Around four o'clock in the evening I came back home and the house was pin dropped silent, then I remembered he had to go first since he had some important files to cross check."

Sometimes it did felt like he could make his lover get jeolous of his work but what could I do, our family had inherited 'genes of hardwork' which also made me kind of hard working in my studies.

Twisting my room's door knob, I was greeted by a box with brand name with a piece of card placed on it with a scribbled note.

I know I can't pick you up since I'm busy...and also because you highjacked my car but I bought you a dress. I hope you like it. Be on time at xxxx hotel. My angel will be the star of the show tonight....

When I opened it there was a knee length red dress. It was embroidered at the hem. A simple yet fabulous dress which was hugging my curves. I was glad that my brother chose a comfortable dress instead of a fancy one. I tied my hair in a loose bun and did a light makeup since heavy makeup was not my style.

I grabbed a hand bag and locked the door. Settling down in my car, I meant my brother's car then I drove to the written destination.

I reached the venue and to my surprise it was so grand that felt like any moment the royal family could've walked through the doors. Drinks were being served, people were exchanging greetings and various voice could be heard having conversations. Since I always denied his request to meet his workaholic colleagues who were just like him this would be my first time meeting them ever.

"Y/N-ahh~" I heard and turned back only meet my brother walking towards me while waving his hand high.

"Stop it, everyone is looking at us. It's embarrassing!!!"

He wrapped his arm around my neck, puling me closer."Come on chubs seriously!?!? Let me tell you no one would ever dare to say anything to you since I'm their superior and as a secretary of CEO I hold a lot of power than them. Now, come on, let me introduce you to everyone then we'll pay a visit to my boss."

JUNGKOOK'S POV

I was getting ready to attend the annual party held for my company's staff and their families but her face never left my mind. I was in a black tuxedo which was perfect to my size. It made me look manly as my muscular body firmly shaped itself against the material of my clothes.

With disappointment I shook my head and got in the car. The whole ride my mind was distracted from the thought that I didn't knew her name. She was not in the invitation list so it was taking time to track her down.

Soon I reached the venue. Everyone started bowing to show respect which I replied with a nod. Several people came introducing themselves with their family and took me as a fool to not understand their intention of attracting me to their daughters.

I had enough. I wanted to stab them right into their filthy mouth but I controlled myself. I was a bit taken aback when I rolled my eyes over to other side of the hall just to find a girl with the similar figure as the girl I desperately wanted to meet.

I divert myself in her direction and start approaching her but then I bump into someone. He apologize but when I again look at her direction she was nowhere to be found.

Maybe I took her for someone else or I was hallucinating. When I was about to turn when someone called me

"Good evening boss! Well last time you asked me to bring my family so my sister has came to pay a visit."

"Hyung,you know I don't like being introduced to girls but you're still doing it?!

"Just call me secretary Jimin and even I won't allow her to fall into your looks."

"Hey!!! I don't fall for just anyone" a voice raised behind jimin.
