The darkness was covering the sky as the time right now was half past two in the night. I had chose the late flight as it was the only available flight flying back to Busan at the end of the week. Well I wasn't in the state to have a peaceful night while Jimin had slept late at night which made him woke up only after two hours to get ready for dropping me to airport.

Yes, I would fly back alone as he being the workaholic was not considering to accompany his sister to our hometown but assured me that after completing his work he would soon take a leave from office and come visit us there.

Putting the luggage in the trunk he came and sat behind in the back seat. I didn't wanted a car crash while approaching the airport so I insisted on driving while he continued to shut his puffy red eyes into dreamland.

After twenty-five minutes we arrived at the airport. I shook him as he rubbed his eyes in an adorable way and looked around to confirm our location. He helped me with the suitcase and started walking in the area.

It's been hours since graduation and here I was walking at the airport, ready to leave Seoul. Clenching onto the suitcase I was arguing with Jimin to let me handle both of my suitcases but he being stubborn not allowed me.

Before checking in I hugged him for the last time. His brotherly embrace was melting me. With the last imprint of his lips on my forehead I waved him goodbye before entering.

After spending hours in the plane I landed in the early morning. As promised, dad was already there in his large shirt and pants, waiting for me to be picked up. I hugged him enthusiastically and joined the car driving off towards the home where mom would have already finished cooking my favourite dishes.

Moms, you know, never miss a chance to bring happiness to her children.

And her homemade food was my weakness.

Slamming the door open I enter the house screaming for my mom's presence. Right behind the kitchen I see her figure coming my way. I dropped my hand bag on the couch and run to have her arms wrapped around me.

She kisses my forehead and caressing my cheeks she asked me to first freshen up then have the food and rest for a while to complete my sleeping hours. She knew I don't sleep while traveling and how unhealthy it was for me to have a sleepless flight at night.

But if only she knew her daughter lost her peace and wasn't in a condition to relax herself anymore.

I did what she told me. In the evening we went for shopping as I was informed that I would be meeting me supposed fiance after two days.

Me and my mom roamed around in every single shop related to makeup, dress and acessories to find the right things to adored me with.

We were in the Showroom in search of something elegant when my eyes fell on a maroon dress. It was a knee lengthened strapless dress embroidered lace on the hem. I tried it and to my surprise I was looking better while my mother said I looked like an absolute godess anyone would fall for at one glance.

I shyly tug my hair strand behind the ears to take a closer look in the full length mirror. Spinning on the axis I observe the reflection in the mirror turning beautifully with its dress sprawling around during the turn.

My heartbeat increased on watching myself smiling like a little girl but soon my lips formed a line when I looked at my mom. I turned around and face her as her eyes were teary.

It wasn't because she was sad but because her little princess will soon become someone's queen.

But the question was still there. Why they asked me to marry this Mr. X who I never met before? They knew neither I wasn't desperate to marry nor saking my upcoming adulthood. So why they insisted on marrying him before it's too late for me? What was so special about him I really wanted to know that reason.

After buying that dress and other stuffs we came home. The night took over and right now we were almost finished with the dinner. I couldn't contain the question within so I spoke.

Y/N: Mom...Dad.. I want to know something.

Mr. Park: What is it dear? Ask us anything.

Y/N: Umm..okay so I was worried about what kind of person you both chose for me.

Biting my lips I lowered my eyes while intensifing my hearing capability. And what I heard was chuckles. I look up and saw them giggling.

Mrs. Park: If you are doubting our choice then don't worry. He is one in a trillion.

Y/N: How come you are so sure?

Now hesitation was shown on her face as she took a glance at dad in confirmation. He nodded and caressed her hand to proceed.

Mrs. Park: A week after you informed us about your trip to Gwangju I got a call from hospital about your dad's accident. Someone hit him on his way and robbed all the money.

It was becoming more intense as now a stream of tear fell from her eyes. And I was no different. I felt my heart stopped beating when she said I was about to lose my dad.

Mrs. Park: He was bleeding there but no one helped except clicking photos of the accident. Then out of nowhere he came and helped him hospitalized. He payed for the medical expenses while I was on my way to the operation theatre. He soothed me until the doctor informed us about the success of the operation.

That's it. I ran and gave the warmest hug to my father who now I noticed wearing large sized clothes. They didn't wanted me to know so they tried to hide it. I should have known why he was acting so weird and often avoided being in my sight.

Y/N: But was it necessary to hide it from me? Did you also hid it from oppa?

Mr. Park: We didn't wanted you both to worry but somehow Jimin got informed from the hospital that I was admitted. He almost checked in to come but we stopped him. Watching my son worry about me would have been hard to handle and it wasn't that he was required either. His company was struggling Y/N they needed him and I would have recovered from all the love your mother was giving me.

He glanced at her as she shyly wiped her tears in opposite directions. When he pecked her hand she leaned on his arm and held it close.

Mr. Park: I wish you could've met him. But as we told Jimin to not tell you that you missed the chance. He took a flight a day before yesterday to Seoul as he had to mark his presence somewhere. He was an angel.

I giggle and cross my arms against my chest to shook my head at them.

Y/N: Aren't you guys describing him a bit more better than your offsprings?

Mr. Park: He visited me everyday Y/N. Like my own son. He cared for me even when I was not his family. If he cared this much for us then we wondered how much he would be able to do for his close ones.

Mrs. Park: That's why we were the one who asked if he would want to marry our daughter. He was single and when we showed him your photo and talked about your personality he immediately agreed to meet you. We were glad to find the perfect groom for you.

Mr. Park: Exactly. We would've never questioned if you chose your groom yourself but this man Y/N... Even I would compare myself to him I feel sm-.

Y/N: No!! Dad you are the best of them all.

I hugged him once again then after a moment pulled away. Watching my lovly parents I did wondered what a person like him would look like.
Now I really want to meet this guy who made my superhero dad feel inferior.

Y/N: I guess it would be a pleasant meeting to meet him. What was his name anyway??

Mrs. Park: Don't worry darling. You'll come to know him completely once we would meet him. Just trust us.

Y/N: Okay... Looks like he is really a prince for sure.

I nodded and shrugged off the tension. Comming back to my room I stared at the ceiling laying on my bed. Indeed my mother never wants my bad neither would she take a decision in hurry she could trust her. She had always given me the best advice and now if she wants me to believe her then why not give it a shot.

Pulling the sheets over I shut my eyes to drift into deep slumber wondering what the future holds.
