Chapter Eight

"How's this possible? I asked him
"You left me Behind,how can you know?" He asked,anger slightly evident in his voice
Angry? Does he really have the right to be angry? I should be the one hitting him repeatedly he left me for 6years with no money or place to stay,I was kicked out of from Spain because of him, I was forced to leave everything behind, I had to leave Kaden here I was broke,I couldn't take care of him even if I took him and now after 6years? He just thinks he can walk in my life and be mad at me?. I shook my hand from his grip and I saw his eyes follow the action.
"You don't have a right to be angry Alexander!"I said sternly, he was taken aback for a moment before he begun to grimace.
"You're disgusting" he spat making my eyes snap to his in shock.

Did?..
Did he just...insult me?

"What did you say?" I asked him
"I can't believe I fell in love with you!"he shouted "i loved you thinking you loved me back but no? When I needed you the most you left me,you fled out of Spain just the same night I received divorce papers on my hospital bed..tell me why did you do it?" He asked.
I couldn't speak, he...he believed- he said he...he never believed I loved him, tears began running down my cheek as i stayed there dumbfounded.
"Answer me Mia!! Why did you do it?!" He yelled again.
I sniffed wiping my tears with my sleeve before looking at him,hate and anger was evident in his eyes,hate at me,I remember when he used to make love to me then,nothing but love and adoration filled his eyes....but this man? He's different, he's not my Xander.
"I can't believe I trusted you" I whispered softly before walking out of the restaurant.

I closed my ears momentarily to stop hearing his voices, I kept hearing them over and over again.
The taxi came to a stop waking me from my thoughts, I looked to my left to see Kaden's school in view I sighed, I came down reaching for my purse- wait....my purse! I left it in the restaurant! Oh shoot!.
I groaned rubbing my temples trying to think clearly
"Ma'm my money?" The man urged
"I'm sorry, i left my purse in the restaurant you picked me from" i tried explaining but the look the driver gave me showed me he wasn't going to listen to that story.
"Ma'm give me my money!" The driver yelled slightly aggravated
"I don't hav-here take" someone said stretching his hand past me to give money to the taxi driver while he drove off, I turned around to be met with striking blue eyes,well that's all I could see, he stared down at me smiling and I returned it.
"Thank you" I whispered,a blush gracing my cheeks,he laughed, I must confess his laugh is beautiful.
"Are you blushing miss?" He asked, his voice a baritone sexy voice causing me to blush harder
"N-no" I replied looking everywhere else
"Hmm, Neon" he said
"What?" I asked
"My name is neon, nice to meet you"he said stretching his hand
"Oh...Mia" I said shaking his hand with a smile
"Pretty name"he commented
"Thanks" I said looking at Kaden's school "I have to go now" I said while he shook his head trying to wake up from his thoughts
"Sorry my bad" he apologized
"No problem" I said before turning on my heels,he grabbed my arm, I looked back at him stretching out his wallet, my eyebrows creased
"I heard you saying you lost your purse" he said still stretching his wallet
"Yes..but you don't have to give your wallet" I said surprised
"Oh please take it, I have enough money in my pockets" he replied
"No, I can't" I said
"Please...Mia, I'll appreciate if you do" he said, the way he called my name sent sparks to jolt up my body, I collected the wallet and smiled gratefully.
"Thank you Neon, it's too much" I said
"Call me your angel for today" he said chuckling making me laugh.
"Bye my angel" I said before walking away with a smile playing on my lips.
