I blindly searched for my phone around the night stand pressing on the accept button even without looking at it.
"What?!" I yelled in the phone.
"Ooh..someone woke up in the wrong side of the bed" Alicia chuckled
"Alicia I'm sorry, I was just enjoying my sleep" I said and fell back on the bed-on a large rock body, I craned my neck to see Xander sleeping soundly, images of last night flowing in my memory causing my cheeks to heat in embarrassment.
"Mia? Are you there?" Alicia asked
"Yes yes, what were you saying?" I asked
"When are you going to come back to Brooklyn? I can't keep helping fill up your works, it's stressful" she whined while I rolled my eyes
"I'm in Brooklyn, got here yesterday, I'll come to work today" I said
"Thank Jesus" I was starting to get sick from all your work. She sighed in relief while I chuckled.
"Oh please don't be a big baby..I'll be there 9:30" I said
"Sure and please stop at that coffee shop close to the office, I need green tea with a blue berry muffin, I'll pay you when you get to the office" she said
"Sure no problem...bye" I said and hung up.
Looking at Xander again, I suggest I leave the bed slightly to make breakfast and have my bath before i leave for work and just as I was about to turn around, he grabbed me by the waist making me squeal.
" you weren't going to leave me without a kiss,were you? He asked and I shook my head saying 'no' before leaning back to place a kiss on his cheeks before I got up.

My black heels clanking on the marble titles, with a black straight skirt and a white button down shirt tucked in my skirt, my hair in a ponytail and lipgloss, I turned over to Alicia's office with her tea and muffin in my hand,I dropped it on her desk with a thud making her head come out from her laptop.
"Thank you" she said before grabbing the tea.
"Sure" I replied grabbing a chair and sitting opposite her.
"You look good" she said
"Really? Must have been Spain breeze then" I said blushing slightly
"Oh it's more than Spain breeze, more like 'you had a good dick' breeze" she said making my eyes widen
"Alicia!" I scolded
"Don't Alicia me, tell me, who is he?" She asked
"And who said it's a man" I replied with a chuckle
" it's a woman?" She asked puzzled
"No" I laughed "it's nobody" I lied
"The hickeys on your neck says otherwise" she said teasingly.
Hickeys?
I look around her office for her mirror laying on the wall and scurry there to see dark red gashes on my neck just above me collar. Xander! I groaned before removing my hair for my ponytail allowing it to fall freely on my shoulders covering my neck. All good.
I move back to the chair to meet a grinning Alicia, I sigh.
"So there is a man?" She asked again
"Who is it?! Who is it?!" She yelled pulling me by the arm to tell her
"Please calm down, yes there's a man, my boyfriend to be precise, well he used to live in Spain but he moved here with me" I said looking at her
"That's amazing!" She squealed
"Well he's my ex husband, the one I told you about, we kinda starting afresh" I replied with a blush on my face.
Yes she knew about Xander being my ex husband but not about Kaden or the fact I had a son for him before we got divorced, that huge secret is only known by Theresa, Harry and my mother and I want it to stay that way, talking about my mother turns she moved out to her house before I came back.
"That's even super amazing, I'm so happy for you" she said hugging me tightly before pulling away, "just do protected sex ayy! I don't want you having a child at your young age yet" she said
"I had a child when I was 21" I said to myself before bidding her goodbye walking out of her office to mine.
