Before Sammie knew it, the season of tricks and treats and candy corns had crept up on them. Although Sammie wasn't a huge fan of candy, she sure loved scaring little children. The school was decorated with spooky murals and lots of cobwebs (although Sammie was pretty sure the cobwebs were a pretty standard decor all year round).

The morning of the 31st, Sammie woke up and promptly dressed up in her super cool costume, which she had spent a while trying to find. She was sure that she would have the most unique costume in the entire school, unlike the losers who went dressed as witches and ghosts. As she studied herself in the mirror, even she couldn't resist admiring the ravishing blond wig adorned upon her head. She was so excited for the party tonight.

Sammie stood outside of Veronika's house. Although she wasn't close friends with the girl, she appreciated her efforts to put this together.

"Hey Sammie!" Sammie turned around and spotted her friend Hailee, who had short bleach blonde hair and a tight black sequin dress with cat ears.

"You look exquisite!" exclaimed Sammie.

"I love your costume! It's so unique! How on earth do you come up with such creative ideas?"

"Oh you know me..."

"We both look so good, we really do never go out of style" Then they saw Beatrice approaching them. She wore a sparkly blue Cinderella dress that matched her stunning blue orbs.

They all entered the party together. Once inside, it felt like they'd been hit with a smoke bomb. "Bonjour mes amis" [Hi friends] greeted Veronika, who was wearing a radiant angel costume with gorgeous wings that sparkled like the eiffel tower at night.

Beside her, Tanner stood wearing a crisp maroon suit with monopoly money in place of a handkerchief. "I would have brought real money but I wouldn't want any of you poor people to steal it."

All of a sudden, Liam, Ryan, and Quinton walked in.

Liam, as expected, wore a pretty generic costume. He was covered in a sheet with two cutouts for his eyes. Sammie took great pleasure in noticing that the sheet was bigger than him, and he kept tripping over it.

Next was the icon himself, Ryan. He was sporting a light pink maid costume and matching light pink sequin fedora.

"Wow Ryan! I adore your costume" said Sammie.

"Oh this? It's nothing special" he responded.

Lastly, Quinton was wearing a cuddly Koya onesie. They all started dancing and laughing and just having fun.

"See you guys. It doesn't matter what you do but what you do with what you've done, for others" said Quinton. Sammie didn't quite get what Quinton was talking about, but they were a nice enough kid, so she let it slide.

"Oh look it's Theodore!" said Liam, "and he even brought Buddy!" Theodore had decided to bring his weiner dog to this party so he could meet everyone. Buddy was dressed in an adorable hotdog costume that he had already gotten many compliments on.

Sammie didn't love having Theodore around but she wasn't opposed to the idea of another dancing partner. Just then she turned around to see him approaching and couldn't believe what she saw. He was dressed in perhaps the most iconic halloween costume of all time. A short blonde wig, a flame shirt and some killer sunglasses. Sammie could have been looking in the mirror.

"HOW DARE YOU COPY MY COSTUME!" she hollered angrily with particles of spit flying out of her mouth. They were both dressed as the legendary Guy Fieri.

Theodore smirked and said "Well I bought my costume months ago what about you?"

"You KNOW I bought mine last year right after Halloween" she cried.

"Actually I didn't know that. When would you have told me"

"I told you all my Halloween costume plans last week when we were talking about this party!"

"Sorry I really wasn't listening."

Sammie suddenly whipped out a bag of candies and shoved it into Theodore's hands.

"Take these and change your costume, you easily corruptible soul"

"Ok" Theodore shrugged and headed to the bathroom. He came back wearing an orange suit with crab patterns on it.

"Where did you even get that, dude? It's awesome. I love crabs." asked Cory, who was dressed as a crab.

"Oh Tanner was just carrying it around. He brought extra costumes so that he could fit in with the vibe of the party accordingly. And his parents own a billion dollar suit company, remember?"

"He was also probably worried that us poor people would spill punch on his expensive suits," added Liam. Everyone started laughing and Sammie felt truly at home.
