Chapter 12

Your POV:
The next morning you went downstairs to see Tom and Harrison eating breakfast.

"Good morning darling. I didn't want to wake you since you were sleeping so soundly." Tom said
"Thanks" you said with a smile
"I'll pour you some cereal if your good with that?" He asked
"Yeah that's fine. I'm not too much of a breakfast person anyway" you said with a smile
Tom brought you your cereal and you ate at the table with them.
Tom looked at Harrison making Harrison get up and leave.
"So I need to ask you something" Tom said
"Oh no what is it now?"
"Nothing bad just I was going to see if you were okay with having dinner with my family here tonight"
"Yeah why would that be a problem?" You asked before eating some of your cereal.
"I don't know. I just know this isn't how you wanted your life to be and I thought you may hate my side of the family"
"No I couldn't hate them. They were just doing what was right for me and you. Of course I didn't think I'd be forced into marrying a mob leader but it is what it is"
"So your fine with them coming tonight then?"
"Yes Tom that's fine" you said smiling
"Your the best" he said giving you a kiss

*** time skip to 5 o clock***
Toms family was going to be here any minute now and for some reason you were stressing. You didn't know if it was because you and Tom were actually a thing now or you were scared of what they were going to say about you and Tom. The main person you were worried about was Sam. You knew he still had feelings for you and hated Tom for taking you away from him. You were praying no guns were going to be pointed at anyone. The doorbell rang and you went with Tom to go answer it.
"Y/n you are so beautiful!" Toms mum said
"Aww thank you! It's great to see you!" You said back
"Hey Sam hey Harry" Tom said inviting them in
"Y/n!"
"Hey Paddy!" You said hugging him

As time went on dinner was on the table and now it was an awkward silence.

"Mhmm so how's the mob going Tom?" Toms dad asked clearing his throat before hand.

"It's going good dad. I'm keeping everyone in line at the moment."
"Glad to hear it"

You could feel the awkwardness between everyone. You looked over at Sam who was giving Tom death eyes. You just kept eating hoping something would break this silence.
"So I wanted to let everyone know that y/n and I are officially together" Tom said smiling

Toms parents dropped their forks. Harry had a shocked look on his face. Sam looked like he was officially going to kill Tom, and Paddy looked confused.
"I thought you guys were already married?" Paddy asked
You laughed "it's complicated when your older but we've found that we work well with each other" I added
"I knew this was a good idea Nicki" Toms dad said smiling.
I looked over again at Sam who was still giving Tom a death glare only this time I saw a black tunnel in his hand pointed right at Tom. It took me a second to figure out what it was. Then it hit me it was a gun!
"Sam no!!!" I said yelling and leaping across the table to stop him.
Luckily he missed and the bullet went through the ceiling. Everyone got up from the table and now all had their guns out. Great just what I wanted.
"Sam just calm down okay?" I asked him nicely.
"No! You were mine! You knew that you were mine! Then I find this shit out?!" Sam said breathing heavily with anger in his face and eyes. He almost looked possessed he was so angry.
"Sam I know your mad but what you two had is in the past. This is how things are working now" Tom said.
I looked at Tom. I couldn't believe he said that to Sam who was pointing a gun at him. Tom was tough, I mean he did do this for a living so this was no different to him.
Sam then grabbed me and yanked me over with him.
"I'm leaving with her whether you like it or not you son of a bitch!!" Sam screamed.
You started crying you were so scared. Sam was so angry you didn't know if he was going to turn the gun on you.
That's when you heard a shot and Sam let go of you. You ran over to Tom hiding behind him.
"What the fuck paddy?!"
"Leave her alone! She's happy with Tom now." Paddy said.
"Your going to pay" Sam said to Tom before leaving.
Tom called security to get Sam off the property as quickly as possible.
"Are you okay darling?" He asked looking at you in your eyes moving a piece of hair out of your face.
You just nodded. Trying to stop crying.
"It's okay" Tom said hugging you tightly "I won't let him hurt you"

Sam POV:
I went back to the bosses mansion.
"Well?" He asked annoyed
"Tom got her"
"What the fuck man?! You were supposed to get y/n and bring her here"
"I got shot!" I said raising my voice
"I could've been shot 5 times and still gotten the job done."
"So what now John?"
"We wait"
