Chapter 1

Sivaangi's pov

It's my first day of college. I'm very much excited about it. It is because my Sam is also joining with me. Sam is my bestest friend since childhood. He have been there through my thick and thin. He's so protective over me. J

I was daydreaming about college life when I'm awaken by knock on the door. "Who's there ?", I asked annoyed . "Just open it", he said. I mean my super annoying so called brother, Harrish. I angrily open the and asked " What do you want ?". He smiled and said "Good luck for the first day stupid. Be safe and if anyone rag you just tell me" while his hand shook my already done hair. I love my brother, but I rarely show him, neither do him. "Thanks anna", I said smiling while he walk away. "Podi paithiyam", he screamed while running down stairs. Ughh so predictable. One second a good caring brother and the next second just an annoying dude.

My phone rang as I walked back in my room , it's Sam.  "Heyy I reached your house, come fast or else were gonna be late", said Sam. I quickly fixed my hair, grabbed my bag and glanced at the mirror for the final check. I wore a red off shoulder top and denim jeans. I ran down the stairs to find Sam happily having his breakfast at our dining room while my mom was serving him. "Someone said were gonna be late and still have the time to feast" , I teased Sam. Sam pouted. "Let him eat Shivu. Atleast he knows how to appriciate my cooking", said my mom while moving her hand forward to feed me idli. I ate few bites and done as Sam finished eating. "You two be safe and be good at college today", said my mom while shaking her head as she know how troublesome me and Sam together can be. We both nodded while smiling. Amma applied viboothi on both our foreheads and lead us to the door. Sam gave me the helmet and he wore his. "Ready ah ?", asked Sam. "Ready let's rock college", I screamed. After a 10 mins of ride, we reached the place which is going to give is unforgettable memories for 3 years. It is Barath University.

The first thing I noticed as soon as I entered the gate is Sri, Sam's girlfriend. Sri was also our friend since highschool. Sam and Sri had been in a relationship for 3 years now. I'm really happy for him. He found someone who can treat him right. Me and Sri also have a very good relationship. We always do everything together and they never felt like I'm a third wheel.

All 3 of us are joining engineering course. We looked around the college and we quickly found where the canteen is. After all food is everything right ? We sat at the canteen and had tea while waiting for the bell to ring. We took some selfies and posted on Instagram.

All of a sudden, the canteen went dead silent. Me and Sam are equally confused. Initially I thought maybe the principal has come but I was wrong. It isn't the principal or any staff, it is a group of senior boys consist of 6 of them. Everyone start greeting them good morning. The gang roamed around canteen and finally fixed a glare at us. "Sethom da Sam'eh", I whispered to Sam. "Na pathukuren", said Sam. The gang neared us, and sat on our opposite bench. "What's your name?", asked a guy from that gang while looking at me. My blood flustered. I went into panic mode. "Why does it matter?", asked Sam grabbing the whole gang's attention. "Is she your girlfriend?", asked the same guy. "She's my friend", said Sam with a straight face. "Then let her talk, it's none of your business", said that guy arrogantly. The comment made Sam's blood boil. He stood up and tell them to move from here. The guy from the gang pulled his fist to punch Sam. I shouted "Noo". That's when I saw another guy rushed and held back his hand from punching Sam. They all seems to be familiar with the guy. "This is not right Dev", told the guy to him. The guy who's name is Dev apparently drooped his fist. "Go to your class", said the guy who saved us strictly. It seems like he's the leader of the gang. Well, he's quite charming I should say.  We quickly grab our bags and walked to our class. While walking I turned back to see him and he was staring at me, but not smiling. Weird....
