Chapter 29

Sivaangi's pov

It was the next morning after our first night. I woke up quite late since we were all tired from yesterday. I wanted to stretch my arms like I always do in the morning but I stopped halfway realising Ashwin was sleeping beside me. Right, I'm married now I reminded myself. His sleeping face is the best thing ever. He was so cute. I leaned over and pecked a kiss on his forehead. He slowly opened his eyes and smiled at me.

"Good morning wifey", he said in his sleepy voice.

"Good morning Ashwineyy", I brushed his hair.

He pulled me in to cuddles. He snuggled for a bit and doze off again. I slowly got up from the bed and took by bath. I got dressed and went down. Everyone was already up. Some were at the dining room and some were at the living room. Once I got down, Mia gave me a sheepish look. She probably meant the first night. Silly Mia.

I greeted good morning and went sit beside Amma by the dining table. They were having their breakfast, so amma fed me some. I was full after some bites.

"Eat some more", Amma insisted.

"No maa, I'm full", I replied.

"This probably will be the last time I'm gonna feed you", amma said saddened.

I instantly broke down into tears after hearing that. I hugged her and she started crying as well.

"She always will be child. You can feed her anytime. You can go to your parents home anytime Shivu. You don't have to change for us", Meena aunty comforted us. Her words gave me the assurance.

My dad walked into the room handing me some pretzel. Yes those were my favourite in London. It always has a long queue.

"How did you..?", I was astonished.

"I know it's your favourite. So went there early morning itself", he said smiling.

I gave him a hug and said thank you. It's gonna be a hard time separating from my most precious people. Atleast they will have Saranya now.

Ashwin walked down the stairs after his bath. He winked at me and went to sit with his cousins. They started mocking him once they saw him. We know it's just for fun, so Ashwin played along with them. Honestly what happened last night, was way more beautiful than the first night they planned for us.

IT'S THE NEXT DAY...

Sivaangi's pov

Today, everyone else except me and Ashwin are going back home. Me and Ashwin decided that we will stay for a bit longer and do some sightseeing or kinda like our mini honeymoon.

Early morning, we both went to the airport with others to send them off. They gave us some hugs and left. Now, it's just me and Ashwin. We headed back to the house. Ashwin sat on the couch and let out a sigh.

"Finally we got some alone time", he said pulling me to sit beside him.

I sat beside him and decided to just watch some Netflix for the day. But quickly we got bored and decided to go out instead. We got dressed in our room which is now one room not two separate rooms. Which still feels kinda weird. I got dressed and came out of the bathroom. Ashwin just sat there on the bed and stared at me.

"What's up?", I asked him.

"Look at you, with thali, the red pottu and everything. You glow different", he said.

I blushed and rushed him to go down. We went out and reached a park. Yes, the same park we had our first kiss. We sat there watching some kids playing not bothering the snow.

"I really like this place, the environment and everything", I said looking up at Ashwin.

"Yeah right, it will be really nice to live here. Grow a family here.  What do you think ?", Ashwin asked. 

"I mean of course it will be really cool"

I said that thinking Ashwin just simply asked the question ? Or he didn't ?
