Ashwin's pov

She agreed to let me drop her home. I am more than excited. This is an unexplainable feeling for me. Why did I feel so close to her yet I don't even know her well. I mean I don't even know her name. I kept looking at her from my side mirror. The way her hair reacts to the wind. She's really something. Everything was blissful until my bike broke down halfway.

"Enna achi senior", asked her as she get down from bike.

"Therileyeh ma", I said while continuing to check my bike. Honestly I was happy because now I get to spend more time with her.

"I don't know what's the problem. I will call my friend he will come and help us. Sorry for troubling you. If you want to call your dad means you do ma", I said hoping that she'll stay.

"No, there's no one home. I'll just wait here, no problem", she said smiling.

Sivaangi's pov

His bike broke down. He seemed tensed looking around his bike to find the problem but I was admiring him. He asked me if I wanted to call someone to fetch me, and I lied that no one is home so I could spend the time with him.

We sat on the divider at the side of the road. I tried to not look at him and act casual but as usual I failed. He turned to look at me and I quickly turned my head down.

"It's a very beautiful night", he said while looking at the moon.

I smiled and asked "Your studies are gonna end soon right ? What's your plan after that ?"

"Really nothing much, travel for sometime and get a job. Very basic", he said.

"Let's go for a walk", I said while standing up.

"Hey at this time ? My friend will come any minute", he said.

"Chumma vangeh senior", I said.

"Seri ma. Btw you just call me Ashwin", she said smiling.

"Okay Ashwineyy", I replied.

"Ashwineyy va ? Dora papa", he said. I was floating in the air hearing him say that. Suddenly I'm distracted by a bell sound. It's the ice cream vendor.

Ashwin's pov

"Eyyy ice cream", she shrieked.

"Venuma ?", I simply asked.

"Yes yess" she nodded her head happily.

"Night sapta cold varumeh ma", I said.

"Aiyo nothing like that", she said while waving her both hands to stop the vendor.

"Oru vanilla na, ungalukku ?", she ordered and asked me. I said no but she asked me to buy one anyway, so I got chocolate for myself.

We went back to our sitting position. Now much closer, with just a few inches gap. I could feel the heat of her body even on the breezy night. She was taking non stop while eating her ice cream and I watched her and admired her the whole time. She noticed it and asked "Why are you looking at me that way"?, she asked looking straight in my eyes. All I could do then was smile. I didn't know where I got the courage, I cupped her cheeks and stare in her eyes. She was shocked yet smiling. I jerked back when I heard my phone ringing.

It was my friend. He helped up repair the bike and the while he was repairing it , I was stealing glance at her and she does the same. Once he finished repairing, we got on the bike and make our way home. The journey to her house was utterly silent. Though I can see her smiling through my side mirror. At last we reached her home. She got down and came near me me. She said "Thanks Ashwineyy". I smiled back.  She turned and started walking towards her house, I pulled her hand, she jerked, I asked "What is your name?".

She smiled and said "Sivaangi".
