It was the next morning, everyone has been woken up early for a prayer arranged by tata paati. It's our family tradition to conduct a prayer before any function so the it will run smoothly. I was laying on my bed for a good few minutes before getting up. I got up, quickly had my bath and dressed to go see Shivu.
As I went down the stairs, I noticed that the prayer had started, but that's not what caught my attention. I heard her voice. Once I'm near, I could see her sitting in the prayer room and singing her favourite Radha Krishna song...

s I was standing there, I couldn't take my eyes of her, she sang some part while glancing at me. It did something to my heart, something unexplainable. Everyone was mesmerized by her singing, especially my grandparents who have never heard her sing. Once she done singing, the hugged her and gave her blessings. I smiled looking at how happy everyone was. After the prayers, the mom's went to kitchen to get breakfast ready and our dad's were headed outside. Shivu was the last one to come out of prayer room. Once she's out, I grabbed her hand and said
"It was so beautiful chellama, just like you".
She blushed and tapped on my hand. She also looked so gorgeous with the pink dress she was wearing.

Then, we all had our breakfast together. Some of my aunties and uncles who lives nearby also joined us. We all had so much laughter and happiness. Soon after breakfast, the men went out and the ladies started preparing lunch. 6 of us (Ashwin, Shivu, Sam, Sri, Harrish, Saranya) were at the movie room watching some random movie. Obviously all of us were bored.
"Ithe thaane namme city le pandrom", Sam finally broke the silence.
"Since they all never been here, let's explore the village", I said.
Everyone's face light up immediately.
"Ayyy jolly jolly", Shivu clapped.
We got up, informed to the elders and headed out by tata's jeep. I drove the jeep, Harrish was beside me and the 3 girls were behind, Shivu was in middle of Saranya and Sri. We made Sam stand behind as there was a space and bar to hold on.
