Chapter 10

"A..Ashwin?", I stammered.

I stood there solid for a few seconds processing what I'm looking at. It's Ashwin ! Everything flashed back in my mind. He stood there equally shocked. Why is he here ? There were million questions running in my head.  He didn't move a bit. 

Ashwin's pov

I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw her in my kitchen. What is she doing at my house ? I choked on the tea I was drinking. What is happening ? But damn, she is more prettier after 2 years.

"Sivaangi?", I asked in confusion.

"Yes it's me. What are you doing here?", she asked with her confused face.

"It's my house", I said.

"Then the bride Saranya is your..?", she paused.

"My Akka. But how you're here?", I asked back.

"Harrish is my brother", she said.

What in the heck is happening ? Her brother is getting married to my sister ? I took a minute to process what's happening while she stood the smiling to her eyes. The girl whom I thought I'm never gonna see again is going to be here throughout my life.  Wow !!

"So what are you doing now ? What about your traveling plan?", she asked.

I got out of my thoughts back to reality.

"That's what I've been doing for 2 years. Joining for job next week. What are you doing ?", I asked her.

"I have a job, I'm singing and yeah that's it", she said.

"That's good", I said.

Sivaangi's pov

At that very moment I made a decision. A decision that is going to relieve me from my guilt. I don't care what will happen. I don't care if he's gonna be mad at me or anything at all. I'm gonna do it. For my peace.

"Actually I have something to tell you", I said shaking.

"What's that?" he asked confused.

"I wrote that letter", I said while closing my eyes. Maybe expecting me to slap me ? Lol

"The love letter ? You told me it's not you ?" , he asked clearly confused.

"At that moment I was scared. I didn't mean to give you the letter. I didn't know how it reached you. I'm honestly terrified at that moment seeing you holding the letter. Obviously, I don't want to tell at me", I confessed.

Ashwin stood there shocked. Why is he looking at me like that ? All of a sudden he smiled. I'm beyond confused.

"Actually you know why I came to see you that day?", he asked.

"To yell at me?", I asked.

"No idiot, I came to say that I love you too", he said smiling.

I felt like the world just stopped spinning. I felt an unexplainable feeling in my heart. I stood there looking at him frozen.

"What in the hell I did ? I lost you just because I'm scared ? What have I done. I suffered with the guilt for 2 years", I started crying. I couldn't control myself.

Seeing me cry, Ashwin immediately came near and hugged me tightly. I hugged him back. I looked up at him and asked ,

"Do you still love me ?", I asked .

"I love you KuluKulu", he smiled and pecked a kiss on my forehead.

"Ahhhhhhhh"

We immediately broke our hug. We turned to find an aunty screaming looking at us shocked.

Me and Ashwin looked at each other. Opss, what are we gonna do now ?
