Chapter 6: Chinno

Last night was hella fun other than Dominique throwing up on blazer and shirt, and I never would’ve expected that girl to be such a struggle getting into her own home. She stumbled everywhere. She had about 3 bedrooms in her house, and she couldn’t tell me which one was her room so I chose the one with a bunch of clothes in the closet.  When she was sleep, her driver took me to the club to get my car.  After that, I went home, showered, changed clothes, and then I came back.  I couldn’t let her sleep alone especially not in her condition.

The next morning, Dominique woke up with her hair all over her head and she looked like she had a rough night.  “Good morning, sleeping beauty.” I laughed.

She winced. “Why are you yelling?”

“I’m not, you’re hungover.” I handed her two aspirin and a bottle of water.

She took the medicine and sipped water from the bottle of water. When she wiped the sleep from her eyes finally, she became alarmed. “Oh my gosh, why am I in different clothes from last night?” She questioned staring at me like I raped her.

I held my hands up in defense. “Chill shorty, we didn’t do anything. You were drunk, and you threw up all over your clothes and mine.” I told her.

“Ew.” Her eyes became enlarged. “I’m so sorry! Don’t think I’m a bad person.  I swear I don’t get drunk all the time. Last night was my first time getting drunk!” She rambled.

“I know, you told me last night, and I didn’t mind.  Just chill.” I told her.

“I’m hungry and oh goodness my head hurts.” She sighed.

“Here’s a deal, you go take a shower and I go cook breakfast.” I told her.

She nodded her head and began for her bathroom. “Hey Chinno?”

            “Huh?”

            “Thanks.” She said shyly.

I smiled. “No problem, lil ma.” I walked downstairs and began cooking bacon, eggs, biscuits, and gritts.

When I fixed her plate, she came down stairs dressed in a flowy orange summer dress.  I sat her plate on the breakfast table and smiled. “I like your dress. Orange looks good on you.” I smiled.

            She giggled.  “What?” I questioned.

“This isn’t orange, this is coral.” She said knowingly.

            I shrugged my shoulders. “Whatever.”

As she began eating, I was thinking about how I should ask her to be in my music video. “Have you ever been in a music video before?” I asked.

She shook her head no.  “Why?” She asked.

“I was wondering if you wanted to be in my music video to my smash hit ‘That’s Me’.” I said smoothly.

She thought for a moment. “What record company are you with?”

I hesitated for a moment. “Raw Thunder Entertainment.” I said slowly.

“You do realize that my daddy owns that company so it’s more than likely my daddy won’t let me do it.” She said.

“I was hoping that you could butter him up about that.” I said softly.

She shrugged her shoulders. “I’ll see what I can do, but I can’t make any promises.  My daddy is protective of his last daughter.” She said.

“Well, just understand that in my music video I don’t plan on parading you around like some hoodrat.  In my music video,  I plan on treating you like a queen.” I watched her lick the grape jelly from her bottom lip.  She looked sexy as fuck doing that.

She nodded her head. “I’m glad you already know my standards.” She said pleased.

I looked down my watch, and noticed that I had a studio session in 45 minutes.  “Look, I have to go, but will you talk to your Dad about that for me?” I asked.

She nodded her head. “Yeah.” She reached her arms out to hug me bye.

I hugged her soft body that smelled like tropical get away.  I could’ve rolled my eyes in the back of my head when her scent filled my nostrils.  “One more thing.” I grinned.

She smiled back at me. “What?” She asked.

I stuck my hand out. “I’m Chance Morris, but everyone knows me as Chinno, what’s your name?”

She laughed. Her laugh was so beautiful. “You already know my name, but anyway, my name is Dominique Deoria, but my friends call me DD.” She grinned.

“That’s a beautiful name, Dominique, just like you’re a beautiful girl. I want to call you, Mini. Is that alright?” I asked.

“I’m not mini. I prefer you not.” She said with a straight face, but she couldn’t restrain her smile.

“I’m going to call you Mini. See you later, Mini.” I began for the door then I paused. “Oh yeah, I saved my number in your phone. Call me if you need me.” I grinned once again leaving.

As I headed to my car, I was smiling to myself.  That damn girl had my sweet side coming out, and she didn’t even do anything. I shook my head knowing that pretty soon she wasn’t going to be the girl that I met anymore.  I was used to most girls being like that. I drove away.
