chapter Five

Around three in the afternoon, Mu Xian came to pick up Lu Jia. Lu Jia almost forgot to take the scarf when he left. It was Mu Wenran who stopped him and surrounded him personally.

Mu Wenran had never taken care of a child younger than himself. He covered half of Lujia's face in a scarf, and finally patted the back of his head and said, "Go, see you next time." He emphasized intentionally or unintentionally.  "Next time".

Mu Xian was a little surprised when he saw this scene. He thought that his nephew would not care about the child, and he was even ready to meet Mu Wenran's cold eyes when he came, but he didn't expect him to get along well with Lu Jia.

Seeing that his nephew finally had some smoke and fire, Mu Xian, the driver, was willing, and in the next few days he dutifully went to the Bai's house to pick up people on time.

During this period, Bai Yi made countless troubles, and asked his mother why Lujia could not do his homework.

Luka grinned: "I will go to play with my brother, and I don't need to do homework."

Bai Yi's teeth are itchy with hatred, but at first he refused to go to Mu's house, and now he is embarrassed to mention it again.

He used to write together with Lujia, but now he can only cry every day, and his mother is alone in front of his desk to do winter homework.

This huge difference made Bai Yi sad to death.

And Lu Jia actually didn’t get anywhere easily. After several days of observation, he found that Mu Wenran had always been the only one in the Mu family. The nanny occasionally mentioned the owner of this family, that is, Mu Wenran’s father, but never mentioned it.  Been to Mu Wenran's mother.

Lu Jia's environment, his life experience, and family made him unexpectedly sensitive to this aspect, so even if Mu Wenran didn't say anything, Lu Jia guessed it.

This gave Lu Jiawu a sense of mission-he had to protect this brother.

So in the past few days when he came to Mu's house, Lu Jia has been working hard to make Mu Wenran happy.

Mu Wenran pulled out checkers and game consoles from the utility room. Of course, these were not his. He never played these things.

Lujia came, and he put the game toys in a row and let Lujia pick it.  Pick one every day and Mu Wenran will play with him.

This mode is a bit like a parent with a child, and it means obviously perfunctory.  Mu Xian couldn't help but laugh, but Lu Jia was very active in cooperating with Mu Wenran.

When he started to play checkers, he even thought about losing to Mu Wenran without showing up. It turned out that he didn't need to lose to Mu Wenran deliberately-he basically never won.

At the end of the game, Lu Jia was so anxious that his eyes were flushed, and he couldn't understand why he always lost. He sat cross-legged on the sofa with his ankles in his hands. He became angry with himself and cried with anger.  Wiped tears on his head.

Mu Wenran paused, put down the checkers, and asked him, "Why are you crying?"

The nanny had been secretly observing the two people, and finally couldn't help but remind Mu Wenran in a low voice: "You let me let him."

Naturally, Lu Jia heard these words, and his shoulders shook more severely, and the whimper couldn't be hidden.

Mu Wenran withdrew his checkers back, and took another step of Lujia's checkers: "You have won."
