Chunin exams. Phase two!

y/n and her team was lined up next to other teams and waited for the speech from tenten. A few white flags waved about on the buildings close to them. One stood high up next to them and waved at them as if issuing a challenge," the second round consists of capturing the flag, you must guard your own flag while attacking enemy territory to seize their flag! which means that half the teams here will be disqualified" Tenten explained and y/n gulped,' this will be a lot more difficult' she thought and she turned back to Rin and Minoru. They nodded at her with nervous expressions. She took a deep breathe," All right teams go to your territories!" Tenten yelled and everybody quickly went to guard their flags. A kunai flew past y/n and she looked behind her to see a group of ninjas that were targeting her team's flag. She growled but got a good idea, she noticed that there were only two of them. Y/n turned to Rin," Rin make a clone here and then go after their flag, remember what we rehearsed" she whispered and the red head nodded. Minoru made some hand signs and placed his hands on the ground. The building top waved around like water and got the other team off track. Rin made a clone and ran off to capture their flag while y/n and Minoru distracted the two others.

Minoru took a deep breathe," that's all I can pull, I told you I'm not very good with jutsus" he said out of breathe and y/n nodded," it's okay, now we just need to keep them from our flag" she weaved some hand signs and a large wooden dragon appeared and snapped one of the two other ninja in it's jaws. The dragon absorbed his chakra as the other ninja near him looked surprised," wood release!?" he growled but waved some hand signs and shot a fire ball at the large dragon. It got knocked back a bit and the other guy fell out of it's mouth," you may have wood release but you're not resistant to my fire style!" the other ninja boasted as his partner weakly got back up. y/n growled and weaved another hand sign. Five shadow clones appeared,' I can do more but I might need to save most of my chakra for later, I'm not too sure what that Shinki kid can do' she thought and grabbed her kunai and ran after ninja while Minoru was fighting off the other guy with his short sword.

~not far away~

Rin was in a heated battle with the third ninja," that all you got?" the other ninja boasted and Rin smirked," not really" he soon poofed away and left the guy in shock," huh?! a shadow clone?!" his yelling was interrupted by the red head pulling out his flag," you should use your head more hun" he teased the ninja as the flag proudly waved in his hand," when-" the ninja was interrupted by their victory being declared by the loud speaker. 

~back with y/n and Minoru~

She and Minoru heard their victory being declared," alright Rin!" y/n cheered and Minoru did as well. Soon the fights were over and the final phase was about to be implemented, and the genin were going to be chunin. Or were they?
