Before we start, I have good and bad news. Bad news is that this probably will barely get past 25 chapters. Sry that it'll be a little shorter than Unfortunate Souls, but I seriously can't come up with anything else (I'm also not as excited about this ship than I was with Bennefischl)
Also, sorry this took forever to get out. It took me a solid week to even begin this chapter lol. Sry.
Good news, I have some pretty spicy plot for the next arc that'll probably come up after this chapter. Not too spicy, not yet at least >:3. Hopefully that'll make up for the shorter story. Anyway, hope you guys enjoy!
Diluc made his way walking towards Mondstadt. He'd head to Angel's Share for some work there. However, he knew he'd basically get harassed by Kaeya and Venti. Rosaria would probably just be there. However, his irritation today would increase tenfold.
"Hmph! Stop right there!" A high pitched voice shouted from behind him. He turned around, then looked left and right.
"Who's there?" He asked.
"Down here you idiot!" Another high pitched shout. Diluc looked down to see a cat looking up at him angrily. Diluc took a step back.
"There's nyo escape!" The cat shouted. It was none other than Diona. Diluc tilted his head in confusion. Nyo escape from what?
"Today will be the day! I'm going to end Angel's Share!" She shouted...
Diluc kicked Angel's Share's door open. He was extra irritated. Diona said she had a plan to end Angel's Share, which wasn't gonna happen. She said she was going to prove just how bad their drinks were, which is never gonna happen. She then challenged Diluc to a one on one with brewing drinks to prove that Angel's Share's drinks are bad, which somehow is going to happen.
"Why the hell did I agree?" Diluc cursed himself. He wasn't really thinking. He was tired, irritated, and hearing Diona talk made him want to jump into a river. He got behind the bar and made a big sigh of exhaustion.
"This evening? Really? You couldn't wait another few days?" He asked himself. After a bit, people began coming in and out. His mind was still on the "Diona vs Diluc" event. He didn't really care about it but also did at the same time. He started getting a headache.
"Archons... can today get any worse?" He asked himself, rubbing his temple.
"The usual." A particular bard asked.
"Yes it can Diluc. Yes it can." He said to himself, grabbing a Dandelion wine.
"Pay up first." He said.
"Put it on my tab." Venti said.
"Your tab is full. Pay for this or the tab." Diluc replied, not having it.
"I'll pay for it." A particular fatherless brother said, and it wasn't Diluc.
"Seriously?" Diluc asked.
"Why thank you, Kaeya." Venti thanked.
"No problem. Hello again Diluc." Kaeya greeted.
"Three children in one day— hello Kaeya." Diluc replied, cutting himself off. His headache was worse.
"So, I came here to ask you about this." Kaeya said, placing a paper on the bar. Diluc looked at it. It read out the event Diluc and Diona had this evening.
"She was planning it before we even— I swear to archons." Diluc said to himself.
"Don't swear to me or my friends. That's not good." Venti said. Kaeya looked at him strangely. Diluc was processing everything. Diona, the event, Venti, Kaeya, everything. It didn't help that he had a headache too. Kaeya and Venti began having rounds as Diluc served them, his headache getting progressively worse and worse. After a few hours, he had enough.
