Eda never let Efe interfere or even help when it came to her university work. She wanted to be successful in her job with her own forces, she believed she could be. That's why she denied it when Efe offered for her to work at Art Life when she graduated.

Serkan was long gone but she stood frozen on her seat almost like she'd seen a ghost. Was the worldwide known architect Serkan Bolat impressed enough by her work that he was willing to give her a chance to work with him?

"Eda, my little princess, what happened to you again? You look like you've seen a ghost and considering you practically are one" Efe joked after seeing her lost in her thoughts, snapping her out of it almost immediately.

"Not going to lie, you had me in the first half" Eda narrowed her eyes at him. "What happened with the crazy witch who just came from the mountains this morning?"

"She was long gone when you took a shower" Efe let out a chuckle. "I'm going to be home by 7, I have some work to do at the company. Then we'll go out for drinks."

Eda rolled her eyes to the back of her head. "You just won't give up, will you?" Efe smiled as he messed her hair with his hand. "Never." Of course, he ran out of sight and disappeared as soon as he did that because he'd probably have ended up with a broken nose.

She had a few more classes to attend before heading home so she decided to preoccupy herself with schoolwork. Should she go for the interview? How would Efe take it? Her professor was running late for class so, in the meantime, she decided to work a little more on her project.

"So there was this girl in the left corner of the conference room. A brunette, big brown eyes, loose curly hair. Who is she? I was actually impressed with some blueprints she's been working on" Serkan asked the professor, hoping to extract some information out of him to actually know who he was dealing with.

"Ah, yes, Eda Yildiz. She's absolutely one of our best students. Between us, she's the best and I'm not even going to try to be modest when it comes to her because she is clearly a gem." The professor explained, proving Serkan's point.

Truth is Art Life was actually looking for landscape architects because given that Efe had no particular interest in it, it fell on Serkan to do the landscape part too. Even though he was good at it, it wasn't the most enjoyable thing for him so he was looking for someone talented and compassionate on his team.

"She is indeed. Thank you" Serkan said as he shook the professor's hand for the last time before finally leaving the university's walls. He got in his black Audi R8 and headed towards a luxurious restaurant to have lunch with his mom, having promised to her and having canceled on her almost every time she brought it up.

To say that Aydan Bolat was a complicated woman would be an understanding. Her relationship with her now ex-husband was never good, nor for her, nor for their sons either. Their negligence was what caused Emre's condition to worsen in the first place, leaving him almost dead and now, kept alive only by a few machines that were barely able to keep his heart beating.

His brain was believed to have stopped functioning. Emre was now 17, 10 years younger than Serkan, and had been like that for 3 years. The doctors had lost hope, everyone had lost hope. Serkan visited him twice a week, brought him flowers each time, held his hand and cried because of how much he missed him.

"Finally Serkan. It's like I have to ask Leyla to arrange a meeting every time I want to meet my own son." Aydan whined as Serkan took a seat before her.

"Here I am anne. I've been busy" Serkan answered as he looked through the menu, not bothered by his mother's annoyed face.

"Aşk olsun Serkan. Too busy for your own mother?" Aydan asked in her annoying not so innocent voice which Serkan wasn't having. "Why did you call me here mother? What's wrong?" he asked, seeing right through the poorly fake act.
