She couldn't believe she did it. It took her some time to actually come to terms with it. She had impressed Serkan Bolat to say the least that he decided to immediately offer her the job. And it was all due to her talent and hard work that finally paid off.

She headed out of Art Life, her arms and legs shaking as adrenaline reeked through her veins. There was a party being organized later that night so she decided to do some last minute shopping for it.

By the time Efe arrived home, Eda was already finished and satisfied with her look. "Wow, you look beautiful. Saying this because I'm used to seeing you like a witch every morning" Efe joked.

"Very funny" Eda answered with an annoyed face. She was wearing a short black satin dress and black heels. Her makeup was minimalist, though the red on the lips compensated for it, making her look like a Greek goddess.

"Jokes aside, you really look pretty. Wait a minute for me to change, I'll be right back" Efe said as he headed to his room to wear his three-piece suit. When he got out five minutes later, he saw Eda chuckling at him. "What's so funny?" he asked, imitating her laugh.

"I swear if this Ceren isn't all over you tonight..." Eda stated, making him smile shyly. "Stop making fun of me."

"Why?" she asked. "You make fun with me all the time so I guess it's fair."

"Come on, Eda. Let's go. Stop annoying me." Efe said as they headed to his car.

They arrived at the club shortly after. The music was loud and there were a lot of people dancing on the dancefloor. Being Serkan Bolat had its perks too. He'd reserved the whole VIP area for his staff, but he himself was running late.

Eda took a seat next to Efe, studying the crowd with her eyes. "He doesn't show up to these things, sorry." Efe told her, knowing his partner. "Why? Wait, what? I mean who?" Eda stuttered, cursing herself a second later when Efe started laughing. "I know you better than myself." Efe said as the others joined them.

"Guys, this is Eda, our new landscape architect and at the same time, my annoying cousin." Efe introduced her. "Well don't look at me like that. I didn't even know Serkan was interviewing her."

"Hi, I'm Piril and this is Engin. We're Serkan's friends since university and also partners at the firm. Welcome" Piril said, extending her hand and shaking it with Eda's.

"Hi, I'm Ceren" the blonde woman said. "the lawyer of the company."

"It's really nice to meet you" Eda answered, winking at Efe for his choice of women. Everyone welcomed her and they were so friendly she felt glad to be there and excited to work with such people.

"You got to be shitting me" Efe gasped in surprise when he saw Serkan join them, followed by Selin. The woman never seemed to ever leave his side.

"Who is she?" Eda asked, gesturing with her eyes at the tall, blonde woman who followed Serkan.

"Selin, the company's PR. She's also a partner and owns 20% of the shares." Efe explained as they finally approached them.

"Sorry, I'm late. Work." Serkan excused himself as he took a seat in front of Eda and Efe, Selin taking one right next to him. His eyes got stuck on Eda's figure. That black dress hugged every curve of her body perfectly and that red lipstick... Seconds after he found himself staring and drooling over her.

"Eda, did you meet with the group?" Serkan asked as he sipped on his drink. He was wearing a three-piece black suit and she got to hand it to him. Black was his color. It suited him so well.

"Yes, I did. They are all amazing." Eda gave him a small smile as he nodded. Selin leaned in to whisper something in his ear and judging by his reaction, he looked bothered by it. She decided to take her mind and eyes off of them and turned to Efe to whisper in his ear. "Invite her for a dance. Trust me."
