"Are you sure you want to come to the meeting?" Serkan asked as he met her in the lobby. She looked better but he still wanted to be sure.
"Serkan!" Eda snapped, making him raise his hands in defense. "Okay, okay. Come on, let's go."
The hotel had many restaurants but their reservation was in one of the best from where you could see the beach and the beautiful colors of sunset. The couple, Fikret Bey and his wife were already waiting for them and when they saw Serkan and Eda approach, they got up to shake their hands.
"Serkan, it's been a long time!" Fikret Bey cheered, his happiness to see Serkan evident in the smile on his face.
"It's good to see you, Fikret Bey." Serkan said as he shook his hand. "Aylin Hanim, how are you?"
"I'm fine Serkan Bey. I see you've brought this lovely lady with you." Aylin said, extending her hand to shake it with Eda's.
"Merhaba, Aylin Hanim. I am Eda, the landscape architect." She said, shaking her hand before Serkan went behind her chair, pulling it and gesturing her to sit before sitting right next to her.
"I see always a gentleman Serkan Bey. Take some lessons Fikret." Aylin Hanim teased, giving Serkan a wink as she sat next to her husband.
"This woman is going to be the death of me." Fikret Bey sighed, making both Eda and Serkan chuckle. "Neyse, how are you Serkan? How is work, life?"
"Great, as you can see. Everything is alright." Serkan said, diving into a deep conversation with Fikret Bey as Aylin and Eda talked about other things.
"So, tell me, Eda. You're a landscape architect. Right?" Aylin asked.
"Yes. I've recently graduated and started working at Art Life. It was actually unexpected, but Serkan Bey saw my works and liked them and offered me to work with him." Eda explained, making Aylin smile.
"You must be really good then. Because I know Serkan never settles for less." Aylin winked, making Eda smile and blush slightly. "Is that annoying blondie with blue eyes still around?" she asked, making Eda roll her eyes to the back of her head.
"You hate her too?" She asked, not surprised.
"I don't like her. She's too arrogant and has never given me a good vibe." Aylin explained. "She used to be to every meeting we arranged with Serkan. I guess he's free now that you're here."
"No, no. You have misunderstood this. There's nothing" Eda blushed, gesturing with her hands between her and Serkan.
"Hmm, not yet" Aylin winked, leaning back to her seat as Eda smiled.
"What are you ladies talking about?" Fikret bey asked, making Eda open her eyes widely.
"Nothing, women stuff love. Shall we talk about work now that we've caught up?" Aylin suggested, covering up for Eda who let out a sigh of relief.
They talked for about one hour about how they wanted their house designed. They had bought a big land in Istanbul overseeing the sea and wanted to build their house there. Since they had two adorable little kids, they wanted a big garden for them to go out and play. Eda gave her ideas as to how she thought it would be best and Aylin loved them. They both shared their love for nature, trees and flowers.
"We trust you both will do an amazing job building our home." FIkrey Bey said, shaking Serkan's hand and then Eda's.
"Eda, how many days will you stay here?" Aylin asked as she shook her hand.
"Three more days."
"We can grab a coffee for breakfast tomorrow. What do you say?" she offered and Eda happily accepted with the biggest smile.
