WARNING: GET YOUR POPCORN READY
"Serkan, you can't fix this with kisses." Eda uttered as she pulled back breathless, gasping for air.
"I know, you're right. But I've been so worried since yesterday that I couldn't reach you, and I needed that." Serkan sighed as he cupped her face. "Will you let me make it up to you?"
"Make it up to me by showing Selin her place." Eda countered, even though she now wasn't as angry as before. He pulled her closer by wrapping his hands behind her again. "I've shown it to her. And I will show it again if she crosses the line, I promise. Now, will you let me show yours? Please?" He rasped in a low voice, sending shivers down her spine.
Her mind kept telling her to resist his charms, but her traitor of a heart and body were already begging to give in. "Serkan" she whispered defeated.
"Just give me another chance." Serkan insisted, giving her a gentle peck on the cheek.
"I'll think about it." Eda answered as Efe's words came to Serkan's mind. He was indeed going to need good luck if that meant getting Eda to calm down. "How about you think about it at my place while we have dinner?" he suggested with a smile on his face.
"If I say yes will you finally let me go? I'm drowning in work." Eda shot back, her previous attempts of getting free of his grip having failed.
"Gladly" Serkan smirked as he lowered his gaze to her soft plump lips that he could not get enough of as much as he tried to.
"Then yes." Eda agreed.
"Good!"
"Serkan!"
"Hm?"
"Your hands are still in my waist." Eda reminded him. "Let me go now." She urged and he did, but not before he stole a quick kiss from her from her lips.
Both of them returned to work shortly after. Serkan was in his office while Eda took her usual spot. She would catch him staring at her from time to time and then break off eye contact. And while it was a busy day, they managed to get some work done.
Serkan seemed preoccupied with what he was doing when Eda decided to knock on the door of his office. "Serkan, are you free?" she asked as she stood at the door.
"For you, always." Serkan answered as he leaned on his seat, a smirk on his face as she took a few steps in his direction. "I wanted to show you the preview of the garden of Aylin's house. Take a look at it and tell me if there's something I should change." Eda said as she handed him the folder.
"Stay. Walk me through it." Serkan insisted as she started to explain her ideas in detail while he listened to her. There was no denying that she was one of the best landscape architect in Turkey already.
"This is pretty much it. What do you think?" She asked, genuinely interested in his opinion about it even though she was sure she had gone a good job.
"Great. Fantastic. We will visit the site tomorrow morning then." Serkan noted as a knock was heard in the door.
"Serkan, are you free? I wanted to discuss the commercial we will shoot because they've arranged a meeting tomorrow and I can't postpone it any longer." Selin said as she stood at the door. "I can come later if I'm interrupting something." She added, making Eda furrow her eyebrows in confusion.
"No, please, don't stop on my account." Eda interrupted. "I'm leaving anyways, my work is done." She said as she gathered her files. "See you later, Serkan."
"Don't be late" he added as she gave him a small smile before leaving.
What was Selin up to anyway with all the innocent and kind act? Was this one of her endless games to win Serkan back? Eda shook her thoughts from her mind as she made her way out of the company. Serkan promised he was not going to let Selin interfere with their lives anymore, so for once, she chose to take a leap of faith and trust he'd made good on that promise.
