Eda unlocked the door, finding an already over the moon Efe that had invited Ceren inside for a coffee. A coffee, at 12 AM... Yeah, they definitely both liked each other.
"Eda, come join us" Ceren invited with a smile as Eda approached them, falling on the couch heavily. "I'm going to make you some coffee too." Efe said, getting up and heading to the kitchen.
"There's something different about you." Ceren noticed. "Does it have something to do with Serkan dropping you off?" Eda's genuine smile was all it took for Ceren to receive her answer. "Hadi, tell me."
"There's pretty much nothing to tell. We just talked. I guess I just talked, he only listened. I don't know Ceren, I mean Serkan is my boss and I am a totally fucked up person. I don't think, I mean, you know..." Eda smiled sadly.
"It's not even the first day of work and you're already on first-name basis. Pardon, you don't think what?!" Ceren chuckled as Efe approached them again, giving Eda her favorite color-changing mug full of coffee.
"EDA, WHY DID THE MUG BECOME RED?" Efe gasped surprised, not having heard Eda's and Ceren's previous conversation.
"I don't know, Efe." Eda raised her hand in defense. "Maybe because you touched it?"
"Crazy witch." Efe said as he threw a pillow at her, making her run immediately upstairs giggling to leave the two of them alone. "THIS CONVERSATION IS NOT OVER EDA YILDIZ. YOU HEAR ME?"
Ceren started to laugh loudly. "I honestly love your relationship with Eda. So pure. She's a sweetheart too. I kind of wish my sister was like her." She said as her eyes saddened. "My family is a little dysfunctional." She sighed.
"Trust me. You haven't seen ours" Efe said as he comforted her by putting his hands on top of hers. "But if there's one thing I know coming from a dysfunctional family myself, is that it can be compensated. All the pain or the anger that you might feel. Although Eda is still angry, she managed to calm me down with her presence. She thanks me every day for helping her and being here for her, when actually she's the one that helped me too. So let me help you" Efe offered as a tear slipped from Ceren's eyes, him immediately wiping it off and pressing his lips gently against her cheek.
That day marked a new beginning for them, a new page on their book.

Today was her first day of work. She decided to wear a white skirt suit. Her blazer fell right where her short skirt ended and she paired it with a white tank top underneath. Her nude makeup was minimalist, but enough.
"Eda. Come on, we're going to be late." She heard Efe call from downstairs as she put on her heels. "I'm coming, wait."
"If all it took for you to finally start not to look like a ghost every day was for you to work, I'd have asked Serkan to have interviewed you sooner." Efe joked like he always did. "Wait, is there a reason behind all these professional clothes, your hair and nails are done, you have even put on some makeup."
"It's my first day of work dummy. I don't want to look like a homeless" Eda answered as they headed towards his car. "We have a meeting as soon as we arrive about the ecological project. You're coming too."
"Yeah, Serkan mentioned something about the ecological project yesterday. What's wrong with it?" Eda asked as Efe parked his car in front of the company. "I'll explain during the meeting. Come on. Serkan hates it when we're late."
Eda and Efe got to the conference room right on time as Efe took a seat next to Serkan. Eda sat right next to him while in front of her stood a clingy Selin whom by the looks of it, Serkan couldn't even sand.
