Later, you went out grocery shopping. You didn't really know what you wanted to eat so it was a very spontaneous shopping trip. It was late before you got home, maybe a little dark even as you were walking home. You tried to be wary as you made your way to your house.
you exhaled sharply as your hand fumbled about in your pocket for your keys. You had nothing to look forward to but some cheap meal and tv, nothing exciting ever really happened to you.
You were suddenly knocked over and all your bags spilled everywhere. You gasped as you looked around for your shopping and for the creature who did it. As you looked around, your eyes finally came to rest on a mysterious figure standing there in the dark. You got closer to it and you recognised him.
it was that dreamy creature that whizzed past you earlier! You stood there, your mouth half open gaping at him and he was doing the same. You both let the attraction do the talking when he suddenly spoke, breaking the silence.
"Meep meep! Meep meep meep!" Was all he said. Thankfully you learned a little roadrunner when you were studying at acme university. Though a bit rusty, you understood enough to know what he was saying.
"It's ok, you didn't mean it but please help me pick up my groceries" you said sweetly.
As you both picked up the fallen tins and cartons, you realised all your lonely days and nights were finally over. He was the one you wanted to spend forever with. You'd have to brush up on your roadrunner, of course, but it would all be worth it to understand this angel.
"T-thanks" you said finally once everything was back in the bags and you went to open the door.
"Meep meep. Meep meep meep meep meep, meep meep meep meep meep" (translation: it was no problem at all, but to make up for it, would you like me to take you somewhere tomorrow? To eat or something? )
You couldn't believe your ears but tried to play it cool. "Sure! I'd really love to. Well, see you tomorrow" you blew him a kiss as you shut the door behind you.
"YES!!!!!" You cheered as soon as he was gone.
