You had been asked out by your co-star, Sylvester earlier on and now you were ready to go on that date with him you were sitting there wondering when he would turn up, when you heard a knock at the door.
"Ah, that'll be him now" you smiled as you answered the door.
The tomcat was standing there, smartly dressed in a jacket and tie and holding a bunch of flowers.
"Are these for me? Thank you!" You said as you snatched the flowers from his paws.
"Are you ready?" He asked as he twiddled his thumbs (or whatever cats have) a bit.
"Sure! Where are we going?"
" My favourite place to eat"
"Ooh" you replied, wondering where he had in mind. Whatever you had in mind, it sure wasn't this.
After a short walk, he showed you to an alley full of trash cans.
"Here we are" he said proudly.
"THIS is the best place in town to eat?"
"I dunno, I'm here a lot and not many other cats know about it"
You sighed.
"D-don't worry, there might be a fish bone or two here!" He told you, frightened at the thought of you leaving him.
"Alright then" you gave in and proceeded to look through the trash cans.
" you know what " he said after a moment. "Forget this, we're going to grannys"
You looked up hopefully. "For cat food?"
" actually I was thinking more along the lines of tweety bird, but yeah, that'll do"
"Thanks for tonight Sylvester" you smiled and kissed him.
