"Oh my gosh, really?" You laughed loudly.
"Meep meep!" Replied your best friend, Road runner.
"Oh, wow"
" Meep"
"That Wile E sounds so dumb, honestly"
" Meep, meep meep" (translation: yes, he is, isn't he? "
"Oh, wow, I really should be going now, good night" you left in good spirits after visiting Road runner.
"Meep!" ( Bye!) He replied as you left the place.
After you left, road runner really got to thinking. You and Wile E had quite a few things in common. quite a lot really. You were actually very similar except for the fact that Wile E hated road runner. You could say he shipped you two.
So that very night, he forged a plan. a plan to bring you two together. It was a simple plan but he was sure it would work and he would try it out the next day.
The next day, he called you and asked you to watch him outrun road runner. You had nothing on for today so why not?
It was amazing to see just how fast he was. They didn't call him the road runner for nothing.
As you sat there, you finally got to see Wile E. Interesting.
after a few minutes when you were watching, he appeared to be coming closer and closer. Dangerously close. You stepped out of the way before he bumped into you but they were both turning round a corner and Wile E wasn't so fast and he bumped into you and knocked you over.
"Aagh!" You yelled as you both fell to the ground.
You both lay there for a couple of seconds to recover but then realised now embarrassing that was and got up quickly as your faces both blushed a bright red.
"I'm s-sorry miss, my sincerest apologies"
" It's fine" you turned away, your cheeks still burning.
"Now where is that road runner?" He changed the subject.
" My FRIEND road runner. You must be Wile E Coyote. Road runner, road runners told me so much about you"
"Nothing good I'd imagine"
"Well, they weren't exactly untruthful. I must say, you did sound quite interesting"
"Really?" He turned round faster than you could get those words out your mouth.
"Well yes, I know you've never caught him, but you come across as pretty smart, cultured even"
He blushed even harder now. "T-thank you" you reduced his normally arrogant self to stuttering.
"You're welcome. I'd actually like to know more about you" you smiled.
"But shouldn't you hate me because of road runner?"
" I thought I would, but you're quite intriguing, handsome even"
That compliment just made his day, well, year even.
You both walked off into the sunset as you continued to get to know each other as road runner stood in the distance watching proudly.
"Meep meep!" He said before running off.
