I smiled and kissed my wife's temple before walking away from her to catch my early flight

I got invited on an exclusive art exhibit in New York and I'd be staying there for a couple of weeks for some related matters. When Somi heard about me going to New York again,she happily asked me to stay in her place which Minari agreed

Minari and Somi's friendship was really unexpected. Well,Imagine your lover and your ex lover being friends? It's just so weird

Somi..

I smiled when her face suddenly pops out in my mind.It's been a while since I last saw her so I'm very much happy to be staying with her in her place, our old place

Yes, she's still staying in the same place where we use to stay back when we we're together before. She told me she just couldn't let go of the things and memories we had in that place so she didn't bother moving out at all

I comfortably close my eyes as soon as I sat on my designated seat and prepared myself to sleep. I'm excited. This exhibit is exclusively for renowned artists around the world only and I'm so happy to be part of it. I'm pretty sure I'll get to meet great artists once again

I'm so lucky!

I touched my wedding ring and smiled. I'll miss you Minari. I'll be home soon baby, I promise..

"Somi!"

"Oh my God,Chaeyoung!"

Somi immediately hugged me tight as soon as she she saw me which made me smile and hugged back. God,how I miss this woman

"Come in, Chaeng. How's your flight by the way?"

"Oh, a bit tiring but I'm all good. How are you?"

"I'm doing great. Oh, I cooked some of your favorite foods. Come on, I know you're starving"

"Thanks, Somi"

I followed her to the kitchen and realized that this place is still the same well. The wallpapers are still the same, the arrangement of the furnitures and even the old photo of us still hanged on the wall

I stopped in front of our photo and smiled. Good old days never really die and I'm glad Somi cherished all of this until now

I closed my eyes and inhaled the familiar scent of the house that I always love. I love this feeling. It's like I'm back in the days where I'm still living my happy and contented life with Somi

"Chaeyoung? Are you okay?"

"Thanks Somi"

"Huh? What are you talking about—"

"Thanks for keeping everything here the way it was before. It's like I'm back home again,with you.."

"Chaeyoung—"

"Thanks a lot,Somi"

I didn't know what's happening to me but I suddenly hugged Somi tightly with tears on my face. I don't even know why I'm being so emotional right now
