A polite knock followed by a sweet voice nudged me out of my deep thoughts. A smile crept into my face the moment I felt the presence of the woman who'll surely love me the most unconditionally, my mom

"Hi,sweetie.."

"Hi,mom"

After Chaeyoung was discharged from the hospital, I decided to stay with my mom for the meantime thinking it's the best for Chaeyoung, Yuna and I.

At first, My mom was too devastated after finding out that once again, I lost my eyesight. She began asking me stuffs but I chose not to say anything and the good thing was, she didn't forced me to open up anything at all. She respected me and my decissions and then told me that I can always come up to her at any time of the day.

I'm more than glad that she understood and welcomed me back at home even after loosing dad because of me. I can feel her genuine happiness the moment I decided to stay for a while and her pure joy was priceless the moment I introduced Yuna to her. She's actually very fond of Yuna and personally decided to even take care of her

"How was your sleep, sweetie?"

The sudden question bothered me as I tried to recall if I even get myself to sleep last night but then I realized, I didn't. Lots of thoughts kept me awake the whole night leaving my mind so alive. I didn't want my mom to worry about me even more so I just faked a smile and tried to change the flow of our morning conversation

"Where's Yuna, mom?"

"Downstairs with your friends"

"Friends? They're here?"

"Yes,they're here for almost an hour ago so better fix yourself and join us for breakfast"

I nodded out of joy then decided to do my morning routine like simply brushing my teeth and changing my night clothes to casual ones but before I do so, my mom hugged me. The hug was warm and long that it almost lasted two minutes. It surprised me because my mom was never the touchy kind of a woman

"Mom? Is everything alright?"

"Of course sweetie. I just missed you and I wanna tell you that no matter what happens, I'm always here for you sweetie"

"Thanks,mom"

Mom's words touched my heart. Her words were full of sincerity that it almost made me cry if not only for the loud laughters I heard which obviously came from the girls downstairs

"I'll go now,sweetie. We'll be waiting for you downstairs, okay?"

I nod my head and let my lips create a smile for my mom until she left but as soon as the door was shut closed, that smile vanished and was replaced by a deep sigh that I've been holding back after inhaling my mom's perfume. The perfume smelled like a mixture of rose and strawberries

It's Chaeyoung's signature scent and all time favorite. Now, after inhaling my mom's perfume made me long for Chaeyoung even more but I guess, she needs more time to think like I do

I just wish that we could fix everything between us before things get worse and more complicated than ever but no matter what happens, I know I'll wait for her

"I miss you,baby.."

It was Nayeon unnie, Jihyo unnie, Momoring and Satang who visited me and Yuna. They told me they've been actually trying to visit me with their wives and kids but that would be a great chaos So they just went by themselves
