"So how's life,chaeng?"

Yeoreum suddenly asked before sipping on her black coffee.

She decided to joined me since there's not much left to do and besides she told me she's actually the owner of the cafe itself. She just love to help her crew whenever she can

Well,I'm not surprise to hear that at all. Yeoreum has always been this humble even after all her achievements and everything that she had. She's been like this even before

"So far..it's good,Yeoreum"

"Still single?"

For a minute,I had some second thoughts if I should tell her that I'm already married. There's a part of me that wasn't so comfortable talking about this stuff with her

"Seeing that wedding ring on your finger says that your not. So, who's the lucky woman?"

"Her name is Mina. Myoui Mina"

I stare at her face and tried to read her emotions but I saw nothing except that little smirk in her face

"See? I told you,chaeng..you'll fell in love with someone someday. Now look at you, happily married with that lucky woman"

"I'm sorry,Yeoreum-"

"Oh,please don't be chaeng. There's even nothing to be sorry about and besides, what we had before was all in the past"

She's right. It's all in the past. Past that still left me with so many what if's and questions until now, especially now..

"How about you,Yeoreum? Are you dating someone?"

"You know how I always wanted to live all alone, right?"

She hasn't changed at all. Living alone has always been one of her dreams. She told me she wanted to do that because she wanted to be independent

She wanted her freedom at everything.

I'm not a loner. I just wanted to do things all by myself and see how far can I go without anyone else beside me

Those were her exact words and until now I'm still against about it. She may look strong on the outside but I'm sure there's still a fragile part of her that needs to be taken care of

She still needs someone in her life, someone who'll hold her arms and hug her when she needed one.. Someone to take care of herself and tell her everything's going to be fine during rough days

"Yeoreum, everyone needs someone in their lives-"

"I know chaeng,I know. I used to believe that as well but everytime that I remember how I broke your heart that day, I always end up realizing that I deserve to be alone. I deserve that than to hurt someone again so it's much better for me to be alone"

"Yeoreum,You don't deserve to be alone-"

"I do,Chaeyoung. I deserve that after hurting you.."

"Yeoreum,you don't deserve that"

She held my hand and smiled weakly

"Did you know?The day that I left and chose to break your heart was the biggest mistake I've ever done. I do regret everything chaeyoung. I regret hurting you and leaving you behind. I regret being a coward."

"Yeoreum..-"

"I regret everything,chaeyoung because the day that I broke your heart was the day I broke my heart as well. The day that I lost you was the very same day I lost myself too.Chaeyoung,I'm sorry it took me years to say this to you and I know this is wrong but.."
