(Y/n) POV
' I hate them, I wish they would go away' this thought is all I can think about as I look down at my wrist looking at my old self-harm scars I got very low but when I met armin he never knew it but he helped me stop and I haven't hurt myself since, we have been dating for a bit over a year now it's been the best time of my life I never told him about it and was worried what he would think if he did find out.

Well can't dwell on it now, training starts soon and I don't want a lecture from the captain, we have combat training today. Me and armin are partners (yay) we get in fighting stance and start sparing armin ends up pining me to the ground by my wrists "fine, you win" armin let's go of my wrists but I notice he's staring at my left one then I notice my sleeve has rolled down exposing my scars 'MY SCARS ARE EXPOSED' I quickly sit up pulling my sleeve down. Quickly I shove him off me and stand to my feet, "I...I..." I couldn't even speak my world blurs with panic, I take off back to my room hears many shouts of 'STOP' and 'WAIT' but I don't the wind rushes past me as I run to my safe haven my room.

Slamming the door behind me I dive on my bed and just sob 'armin is gonna think I'm insane and leave me' is the main thought rushing through my head.

Armin pov
After (y/n) ran off a million thoughts run through my head, what were those scars? Did she make them? Is she still making them? After a few seconds of sitting on the ground these thoughts running through my mind I leap to my feet and sprint after her, to hear her door being slammed down the hall. I quickly run up to it and start banging on it "(y/n) it's me armin let me in please I want to help you". I don't hear anything for the next few moments which are terrifying, until the door slowly creeks open to reveal a broken angel her eyes are all red tears are leaking down her face and she is sniffing but at least she hasn't hurt herself.

I quickly grab her a pull her into a tight embrace, relieved. "(Y/n) I want to help you, can we talk?" I hold my breath waiting for a response. She just nods her head and walks back in her room sitting on the edge of her bed. I close the door behind me and sit next to her.
She keeps her eyes on the floor, before sighing. "Um if you don't mind me asking, what we're those marks?" She looks into my eyes for a second before letting out another big sigh and rolling up her Sleeve revealing lots of of scars but luckily no fresh ones. She swallows them speaks "before we started dating I was very low my family was killed in when the colossal Titan attacked. I had no one to talk to so I turn to errrr... that" I frown at the thought of her being so alone, I hold her hand and kiss her arm holding are intertwined hands to my face. "But since we started dating I haven't felt the need to hurt myself, to be honest without you I probably would have..." I quickly cover her mouth before she could finish her sentence "please don't say it, please" I feel the need to cry a single tear slips down my face, She gently wipes it away. "Hey it's okay you stopped me from ever considering that just by being here for me" I look into her eyes with my tear filled ones, she pull me in and we fall back onto her bed wrapped in each other's arms.

"I love you armin" "I love you to (y/n)" we share a gentle kiss before snuggling closer to each other. I will always be here for her she will never feel the need to hurt herself again.

I'll make sure of it...
